- Just a shortie episode ( compared to most of my videos) to show you how we bring the loveliness of Nature into the house for our winter decor. It's easy, beautiful and costs nothing. This is the first in my December weekly series for the Christmas season.

Love how you incorporate everything, even the peacock feathers! So beautiful! Everything looks so warm & festival, and you are right why should we just have flowers in the spring & summer! I make a potpourri at Christmas for family & friends that you simmer on the stove. You take 1orange(sliced), 3-5 cinnamon sticks, 1-2 sprigs rosemary, 1 cup fresh cranberries, 1 Tablespoon cloves, 2 tsp nutmeg. Fill pot w/water & simmer. This will fill your house will a wonderful, holiday aroma! Everyone looks forward to this every year! 🤗☃️
nothing beats the beauty of what you can find in nature. God's creation 😍
Absolutely!
I live in Montreal and since my daughter, living in California, can't come home this dreaded year I have sent her home made items from the garden . She has never had a Christmas without family and I hope it reminds her how much we love her. Love the tree.
It will do her heart well... your the best kind of mom.
Dear Jeri, we don't mind if they are two hours long!!!!
My goodness, your talents are out of this world!
Thankyou! But there is no talent required for making these items... nature already took care of that.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow You're right! The creativity to use nature in the way you showed us is a talent indeed. And you have so many others that we enjoy.
I was in the mood for (really needed) a little Hopalong Hollow. Beautiful - just like the olden days. God Bless!
I loved every minute of your video. The donkeys, wreaths and music.
With all the turmoil in the world, your voice calms me.
Thank you Jeri💗
We all need a sense of peace.
Oh my your a good teacher! I had lost that feeling, but you bought it back! Even though it’s after Christmas.! Thank you!
Oh such magic fingers. This gives me such a feeling of warmth and contentment!
How beautiful! I loved every idea you shared, and every moment of your lovely video. Yes, "what could be more beautiful than what nature has to offer?" So true. Thank you!
I love gifts from nature for decor. Thanks again for this inspiration!
I loved this and watched twice so far! The metal hanger is ingenious!!! ❤️🎄👏👍🥳
I love all your video ,but I think this is your best one so far ! Looking forward to the next one.Thank You so much !♥️👵
I love everything you do. Merry Christmas
What a great way to keep Christmas simple and naturally beautiful.
Merry Christmas, Jeri. I’ve been waiting for a Christmas post. Thank you.
All these animals around you are just the cutest 😍 Hi, I'm Alina and I just found your wonderful channel some days ago. Your rosemary wreath looks amazing!! I've never seen one with rosemary before. Here in Germany we make wreaths with fir and put four candles on top ☺️ It's called advent wreath and the candles are lit sequentially on the four Sundays before Christmas. Just made some with my grandma for a video, it was great fun ☺️
It's just perfect Jeri. A wonderful post from your idyllic home 💕
My name is Maureen I'm Irish living in the UK. I have just discovered you, everything about you reminds me of myself so Im really going to enjoy your channel thankyou so much. You are an inspiration. Have a lovely day, in my words, in your perfect home 💖🌹
Hi Alina, Nice coincidence, I just saw your channel the other day and was liking it a lot. I saw a German couple making an Advent wreath on another channel as well, that's the first I had heard of one. Very lovely and nice to meet you!
Thank you Maureen, My husband is happy to see an Irish on the channel, you're the first and only! Irish is his heritage. It is nice to meet you and see that we have much in common as a lifestyle.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow Oh really, did you 😃 That's truly a great coincidence! Thank you so much 💚 That you like my channel makes me very happy ☺️ Nice to meet you! I'm looking forward to your future videos
So beautiful and effective!! 😊💓💓
Lovely, lovely, so simple, very beautiful...e
Love them all. But my favorite was the last one the coat hanger with fruit on the top and those beautiful Peacock feathers. Thank you for showing us all the nice things we can make .
You are so welcome!
My day has had a most delightful ending as I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of your projects. That's a very clever method for making a swag. Thank you so much for sharing your. Christmas projects and without ads. 💓
I've so avoided the ads, although my son keeps trying to talk me into it, I refuse.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow Thank you for your decision. Greatly appreciated.
Everything you touch turns into a thing of beauty! 💕🙏 I would love to see you create a Victorian tree!
I am going to do that... and make VIctorian ornaments.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow can’t wait!! I will keep an eye open. Thank you!
Me too!
Sooo lovely and you are right, Free. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
Oh Jeri, you are so talented. Never would have dreamed to use garden bits the way you did. Just wow! Cant wait for more. :)
Thank you so much!
Such an inspirational video. Using what is in your yard. Very nice.
I love the idea of bringing outside in for the winter months. I actually dig up and bring in my rosemary plant every year because it's too cold for it to survive. I also bring in pine and cedar boughs that need trimming. Take care my friend - Marcie
That was fun. Thanks. Have a blessed Christmas.
So excited to see there is a new video from you. It’s perfect timing I’m just sitting by the fire place having my night coffee. Thank you for making this day perfect. Now back to your video
That fireplace sounds very inviting.
Night coffee...sounds so wonderfully cozy!
Some years ago, I brought in a found bird nest for decorating...tremendous mistake. Had to have the whole house exterminated for lice and mites...talk about a mess. Won't ever do that again. Some kinds of greenery, etc., needs to be draped across a fence and debugged (water spray, and some other methods) before bringing into the house. I learned this the hard way. But, using nature for decor is still the best. Love it. The front door swag and chickenwire vine tree were absolutely beautiful
Oh dear! That's awful... I guess I've been lucky in that regard. I've placed most of mine on the porch or in the potting cupboard.
I love watching your videos. Thanks!!! 💖✨ 🇧🇷
I loved the sound of ypu putting the holly in with the roasemary bunch
Love your videos....I just don't know which of the projects I like best. I think the tree...maybe...oh the door swag...everything so natural and unpretentious...of course it helps to have an artist's eye and all that lush greenery outside your doorstep. Oh...what a delight! Plus the little storyteller in you just is the icing on cake.
My heart just grows full when I watch your videos. What a beautiful gift you have to take what the Lord created plant it for enjoyment then give it another beautiful life in arrangements. You are a blessing in how you teach and steward God’s creation. Merry Christmas!
So glad you are enjoying!
Always think ‘winter decor’ instead of ‘Christmas decor’ -- longer lasting ❤
Very true, I leave the wreaths up all winter and into spring.
Thank you for all the different ideas. I bet this smells wonderful....I love decorating with nature...
Ah, that room smells like the forest!`
Hi Jeri! Another great video! Can't wait for the others! I am savoring a more simplistic, natural holiday this season! Lots of naturals, greenery and such. You are very inspiring and I simply can't wait on the other videos.
Melissa
Tfs your knowledge with us It’s wonderful! Diana Romero❤️🙏🏼👵🏼💐😷
Muy bello todo mucha inspiracione.
La admiro mucho cuídese y gracias por compartir 🍀💞🍀
That set of forbids you saved, touched my heart. So, so lovely. Inspired now! Merry Christmas!
Looking forward to more videos! Beautiful greenery in your projects, everything is gorgeous!
Oh this made me miss the little farm that I used to live on so much. I had mini donkeys, cows, a llama, horse and even a resident skunk. Love your video and will be following. Merry Christmas.
Just beautiful! Thank you so much for all of the inspiration, Jeri xox
This was so inspiring , Jeri. I have plenty of rosemary and holly to make something for Christmas.
I've had my holly bushes about 10 years as well and it did take a long time to see the red berries.
I thought it was because we had a drought the first year, but maybe not. I enjoyed seeing your wreaths.
That is so curious about our berries, I hope they increase every year. Our berries only appeared on the lower branches this time; maybe they creep upwards as time goes on??!
Merry Christmas Jeri. And thank you for the lovely gift of showing how you create such beautiful decorations for your home. These works of art are simple in the best sense of the term, easy to make, and free. The thing I always appreciate about your videos is that they are "real". You clearly LIVE with your creations. They are not "props" or pseudo antiques. They are real with the charm and patina that cannot be faked with chalk paint or other artificial surfaces that look so "cute" that they border on kitch. Your rooms are an extension of who you are and the HOME that you have created for yourself and your husband and that you share with us. Perfectly imperfect. Your videos are as comfortable and comforting as an old tweed jacket or flannel pajamas and large, loosely fitting cashmere socks on a winter day...a favorite book with a cup of tea or hot cocoa by a warm fire of apple wood in the hearth. I bid you peace, health, and warm fires with loved ones gathered in your home for your holiday season and throughout the coming year..
Thank you Randy, as always, your impressions are thoughtful and sincere. And I do like being as comfortable as "an old Tweed Jacket.. I love that.
Jeri, you must know more than I about it but there is probably no male holly bush nearby which is what your female holly bush needs to get berries. Watching you makes me miss my yard and garden. I have become a flower thief! Loved this video and look forward to the next.
I knew a little about the male and female holly, not much. But every single bush is producing the berries now and there are 5 bushes.. odd.
# ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 'chicken wire' TREE & Everything Else You Did in your Christmas Decor ; ) # LUV
Oh Jeri...I love your channel and so enjoy the tours and stories of your home. Peaceful and serene in these days of chaos. Awaiting tea with you in your next video and using your delightful teapots and charming china.

Again Jeri, the music is Wonderful at the intro with the ducks walking and now the music enters with this beautiful tree made of chicken wire and ivy. I love the flowers, mostly how they add color. I love it! And I grabbed my cell because at point 18;04 on the video is a beautiful picture of your window with the clock in the middle and haziness from the outside light. Thank You so much Jeri. I love this video. You're sO creative!!! Blessings in Abundance Jeri!
I had to go back to 18:04 to see what you saw! Ah yes.... I love my geese marching along in the frosty morning, they have such purpose.... heading to the corn bin.

That tree you made is absolutely beautiful! i just had to comment that.
Hi ,Jeri so glad to see you back I know that your trip was a good one,but I did miss you .
It's so relaxing to sit with a cup of herbal tea and watch you make your beautiful ivy Christmas tree and rosemary wreath. The smell of rosemary is lovely and I love the essential oils made from it, along with lavender. Will look forward to your next video!
It was so easy to make, and turned out perfectly imperfect.
I can't wait for more Christmas videos and different types of trees! Thanks for reminding me...I have gomphrena in my yard that I forgot about. It'll look beautiful inside
Never let that gomphrena go to waste, You can always remove the seeds after it's outlive usefulness in the house.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video 🎄
Such a lovely video, Jeri. Merry Christmas to you and your family.🤗

I haven't put up a Victorian tree in years, it will be a big surprise for me to open the boxes of old ornaments to see what I've been missing.

What a pleasure it is to view your videos. Your voice is so calming and lovely. When I see you’ve posted a new video I know I’m in for a wondrous time filled with your talent and knowledge. You show us all how we can get back to a kinder, gentler time. I wish your Hopalong Hollow was open to the public. I’d make the trip from NYC, gladly! God bless you and the good work you put out to our sometimes too fast and broken world ❤️
