I would not purchase a too thin 24k gold chain because it needs to be durable. That is why I will not purchase a Mene chain. You need the chain to be a little stronger. Melissa is talking about a 21K chain and even 22k is strong. 24k is great if it is a little heavier chain like the one Melissa is showing and not a super fine chain.
Melissa I also have a gold 22k chain, apron 22 grams which is passed down to me which is over half a century old. I feel it will last much longer than I will. 😀 My two 24k pure gold chains are much heavier. You are so intelligent about gold jewelry!
