That paragraph always gets me in the feels "you think everything is possible, and nothings gonna get you baby, everything is touchable and nothing gonna beat you in this life." I think, at one point I thought the same. And that is what hurts now. Because not many things are possible when you're standing in your own way, and life does get you down with traumas and baggage that eventually come up. And I don't think I've won in my dreams at all. But that paragraph will always be true. I must work harder. So I can go back again to that thinking, where everything is possible.

The poets from wales. That's how I like to call them. Most of the lyrics of their songs capture how I feel or how I have felt in my life during some periods. Not many bands can move me to tears by listening to or by watching their artistic videoclips. The videoclips almost have a level of an indie movie trailer, not just a videoclip. Thank you stereophonics for making real music and for visualising it!

I was introduced to this song when I was in middle school, probably shortly after this video was uploaded. I listened to it on repeat for ages, but moved computers and youtube accounts and couldn't recall the name of the song or the band. It has haunted me for years, with the image of the girl falling off the wall and the overall tone of the song lingering in my mind, but no words came to mind. I went on a deep dive this evening to discover this song again, and I'm so happy I did! Instant chills and a wave of nostalgia flooding back. What a song!

Is it "drunken hag" and is it "your innocent" or "you're innocent"? Really changes the meaning of the song. Drunken hag makes it seem like when the girl was young nothing could beat her but eventually time caught up with her and all she died as drunk old lady, hence drunken hag.

@@me-pn5lu and I still think that it may say, "you can see with the sun in your eyes, you're innocent (you're innocence)" or at least that's how it sounds like to me. I'm not Welsh, and maybe we need a Welsh person to transcribe the lyrics, but what it means to me is that, the girl was so innocent that it was more obvious than the shining sun, perhaps brighter because the girl was so pure. but in both transcriptions, it more or less means the same, this girl was so innocent and pure that she did not know good from bad and it eventually led to her downfall either in old age as drunken hag or in reckless youth while drunk and high.
