Maryville just 3 years ago was significantly less crowded than today, which is suprising as so many people just flock here from primarly California, Florida, and New York.
You dang realtors and these videos! It’s an absolute mess out here now Maryville is nothing like it use to be which was enjoyable now just overpriced and overcrowded! There is no small town feel anymore thanks to all you people moving here!
46 years old born and raised in So Cal. When I was a kid there, there was 1 Sheriff that still rode a horse in the city of Temecula. I watched people move in from out of state for years and now you cant even get around. So to all you peeps complaining...same thing happened there. Its life. People search for a better life. Maybe its time for your search. I understand...but life happens and so did Newsom. Im now here in Maryville and this is not crowded in comparison. And yes...im Red all the way. I didnt bring any of that Ca. ideology crap. I love it here!
Thank you so much for the input! I find that most people moving to the area share the same conservative values and just want to find a place where they fit in. I'm glad you're here!
@@taylormontes8592 Right on! We are still loving it here! Can't say anything bad! Their High School here is one of the best in the state. Great athletic programs. People here are really nice. Weather is nice here. All 4 seasons are mild. It's beautiful here! And the tornadoes seem to stay away from the East Tennessee!
Wow, my sister Sherry moved to Maryville TN from Dallas Texas couple years back and she and her husband Wayne love living there. Wow you walked past her brick house (older homes section) that is just a few streets away from Sandy Springs Park! Their home has a fairly large lot with many trees out back, they enjoy walks along Pistol Creek everyday.😊
I realize as a realtor you want to sell property . . . but you've done your job. Droves of people have moved her and destroyed a lot of the natural farmland and beauty. Rolling hills and farmland are now condominiums, apartments and town houses. What took 10 minutes to get across town now takes 30 or longer. I am now sitting through one traffic light two or three times before I can go. Maryville used to be a "quaint" Mayberry type town, but now I feel like I live in a suburb.
I want to live in Maryville. I've lived in both Loudon and Lenoir City and they're BORING. Maryville has a lot more to offer. Unfortunately I can't afford to move right yet. Maybe someday...
I grew up in Maryville and moved to Knoxville as an adult. Within a year I developed asthma and a bunch of other stuff and Knoxville just is too polluted and noisy. I was looking to move to a far away state for the past 5 years until I actually started thinking about coming back to Maryville! Is there another town in east Tennessee like Maryville, but not? Growing up there I didn't appreciate all the amenities until I moved to Knoxville.
Can't wait to move to Maryville, I'm coming from Massachusetts and bringing my leftist ideals. I can't wait to straighten this place out and make it more like Massachusetts! I don't want to see and Trump stickers or Bibles either!
While you were downtown you could have showed us where Sam Houston enlisted in the army, which became a drug store. Also you didn't mention Two Doors Down, the hottest club with a stage in Maryville
Not that I’m asking permission but curious: my husband’s family is from Maryville. He was born and raised in Maryville. We used to live in Maryville and now we’re in Oak Ridge. Are people like us included in the “stop moving here” sentiment? Or is it people out of state. We want to move back to Maryville to raise our son where his family is from and where his family lives. Oak Ridge is just too industrial and not green enough
Hey thanks so much for watching! Most people still consider East Tennesse to be an affordable place to live. It's all relative to what you're comparing it to!
Not all Californians are terrible. lol northern CA is great…if it wasn’t governed by the rest of California. I want to move somewhere in that area. Along with my wife and two kids. The liberal bullshit is too much here. I saw a high prices comment above…check them out here..

Same here, its literally ridiculous compared to when i was a kid. Cant even go to the store without seeing 15 different state's driving by
Unless they do something about the expanding the roads soon it'll take an hour to get to where you need to go in the mornings / lunch and after work.

Grow up! It’s called a free country and you don’t own the town. Southerners are the worst humans ever!

How do you like it there? We’re also in Temecula thinking of making the move.

Maryville is a great town for sure!
It would have been really helpful to know the prices in the two neighbirhoods you showed us. Minor detail.😊
There's a big range of prices in these neighborhoods! You can find homes anywhere from $300,000 to over $1,000,000.

Farragut and Loudon are decent picks.
please stop moving here too many people bruh
I’m going to move here once I finish school with my family in 11 months. Seems like a great place to raise a family. We are coming from Arizona
@@JkisthenameLol, it was great. It won’t be great with thousands of people with shit values moving in.
Same with almost everywhere in the country

Do you have any recos for apartments or rooms for rent for one person?
Hi! Yes there are some options. I just responded to your emial.

@@courtneytidwell691tbh you called dibs already and aren’t in the “yankee” demographic so you’re fine. mostly it’s Californians and Arizonans

I’ve been there it’s not affordable. Miss East Tennessee. Do your research

Maryville has a housing shortage and the jobs pay aren't keeping up with the cost of living there
Stop moving people here!
East TN used to be an awesome place to live but now it’s overcrowded and miserable so STAY AWAY. Quit moving here.
How about pickleball?
Yes there are pickleball courts 👍👍
where are the Californians not moving to?
There aren't many Clifornains moving to Tennessee right now believe it or not. We're seeing mostly people from Florida.
@@livingintennesseeteam that’s fantastic news!
