I'm really excited to see Keyleth's rage adapted in the animated show. In the campaign, her interaction with Grog was one of my favorite bonding moments and made it so satisfying at the end of this arc.
If they ever do Asmodeus... How cool would it be to have Brennen do the voice? I mean he isnt in the campaign, but he is in the Calamity and they do show us more of that on the show, so.... Fingers crossed
Luis. Louise is a woman's name that sounds similar. But yeah, excited to see them taking bolder deviations from the actual-play story, especially to give Pike more to do. And yeah, bringing in lore that was established much later is very interesting. But I found it weird that the characters in the show are using "demon" and "devil" as synonyms, and talking about finding demons in the Hells. And not just Grog, even characters who would definitely know the difference like Allura and Pike. Like, is that part of D&D lore not part of LoVM? There aren't two separate classes of fiends from the Abyss (chaotic) vs. the Hells (lawful)?
Yeah, unless you're going all the way to lvl20, which Marisha anticipated and is why she held off on multiclassing. The lvl20 capstone feature of unlimited wildshapes is unbelievably good for moon druids who can refresh their form's hit points every round as a bonus action, and have some good elemental options. Also full casting in wildshape form even for material components is pretty good when you can be an air elemental chasing down a flying enemy while blasting them with sunbeam. The multiclass is good at lower to mid levels, when beast forms are powerful enough to be worth using in combat, but there aren't many higher-CR beasts to choose from, and the elementals are often not amazing; Keyleth spent a lot of combats at levels above 10 or 12 just casting, not wild shaping, until lvl18 for beast spells or lvl20 for full archdruid.
This season got released on my Bday and had my family watch it with me. When Zerxes' name was dropped I abruptly got within 2 inches of our family television and said "f*** off, they did not just so that so casually!!!" I felt no shame. Great twist.
Between Travis mentioning Luis and Taliesin mentioning a special cameo in Hell, I think we can put these pieces together and guess who’s going to be making an appearance!
They were prequel mini series that are set a 1000~ years before the current timeline . They explored the events that caused the gods to leave the main plane of Exandria and the downfall of the Age of Arcanum (when wizards were suuuuper powerful and decided to fight the deities).

In the other group interview Taliesin mentioned a special cameo in Hell, so methinks yes!
I think so!!! They said Luis would be there and it makes the most sense!!!!!
Btw, 1 level in barbarian on a moon druid is non that bad

@@Peter_Cordes yeah it's a cool multiclass that is also not bad but if you are going high level it does fall off

I only know the Vox Machina universe from the animated series and the comics, could someone tell me what Calamity and Downfall is?
