To see, once again, how unique and gifted each team member is. The esprit de corps is felt throughout, and there is a certain graciousness the other teams, with all due respect, do not have. Exceptional people, with a deep passion for sailing - watching this is a priviledge.

@@dancampbell8149 In general he talked about being in a state of constant tension, but not missing to be on board. At Geomar they talked about the science pack and the data collected with it(co2 saturation), how valuable this collection is as they sail to the remotest places. They took a walk in Kiel where there will be the fly-by on the way to Denmark, talking about where the fly - by buoy will be located and if there will be a party (yes). Finally they chatted about the time when Boris lived in Kiel.

Obviously. However: hold on! Go for gold! You are a great, fantastic skipper. @ Rosie: keep smiling. Your smile is EPIC. @fly captain: Thanks so much for taking us flying with you. Curious to know the new guy for the next leg. For sure you are the best team, the most funny one, the one with the perfect mindset. I really have fallen in love with the Malizians. And thanks for the insight of the tech team. Without the on shore team the off shore performance would be impossilbe. Thanks, thanks, thanks for all your insights. Are you still hiring? ;-)

I was wondering why this team had my heart when my hometown is next to Newport. Now I realized it’s because of Antoine. He captured the spirit and emotions and always kept it fresh while posting consistently. I never would cheer for a team like I do if he hadn’t shared such incredible and visual stories. Working on edits in those conditions are crazy but the videos always made you feel like you were right there onboard or on a drone yourself. Good luck to the team and thank you Antoine. Stay safe everyone.

All the OBRs are excellent professionals but Antoine is in a class by himself. His sharing of even his own drone activities shows he really understands how to report on the boat and all the crew. Well done.

I cheer for Team Malizia, i want the Malizians to win this. I love the vibe we get from the boat, I love Antoine's work, BUT.... This is a race between 5 boats. And seeing Holcim dismast was ... heartbreaking, the race leader out of this leg and I am crossing my fingers that they'll be back for leg 5. And when Guyot dismasted and you hear the voice... shivers down my spine, tears in my eyes. That team had such a run of bad luck, first the hull issues for leg 4, now dismasted, missing leg6 as well. I hope they'll be back for leg 7.
    Go Malizia!

What I learnt, btw I knew for decades in sailing: Aiolos is not always fair to the competitors! 3.5 or 5 miles away to the other and Malizia got no wind and 11th hour speeds away. Will and Nico did a great job but were finding themselfs in a "Pot Noir". The Team did their very best and took 4 points. The boat is in best shape, big B will be back and so lets go for another round! Send it, Rosie and a huge THANKS to Carsten, very well done! 👍

I really dig this team! I was so pumped to see the sailing crew and the shore team in Newport on arrival! I can't hardly wait for the In-port Race and departure this weekend.
To be shore, that gentleman in Home Depot is rather clueless about the Imperial versus Metric. This kind of chat makes me cringe just a little bit. Americans have seriously embraced the metric system, whether we realize it or not. How many milligrams of Tylenol to take? How many liters of soda to buy? What's the displacement of your engine? 2.0 liters? Perhaps in the construction trade there is still a stronghold on the Imperial system but we clearly aren't "sticking with SAE", as he states.

Malizia, please teach 11 hour that a day is 24 hours. And that this is the speed difference of the two ships.

@@teammalizia It's so good to have two that we race between them every other year! Only 475 miles though - your crew could do it without a nap. Annapolis-Newport starts June 2d - too bad you don't have time to stay around a week for the party to welcome them in!
