    Wow, your drawings are truly amazing. I started out like 4 months ago with sacred geometry drawings and you are such a big help and source of inspiration. Thank You for all the effort to do the Videos. Greetings from Germany!

      Hi Cindy. How did it go? I hope you could draw it. I know that I speed up the video at certain moments. Thats because I thought that it would start to become repetitive at certain moments. Good luck!

    Excellent work! I'll definitely have to try this once I purchase my own compass. Perhaps I'll record it and send you the link when it's finished. Thank you for posting! :)

    I've done almost all your sacred drawing videos, They've taken me awhile but I try my best to get them done... but This one of the HoneyComb lace was a big challenge and I'm still working on it. But I really think you do an amazing job on all your videos. Thanks for sharing.

    • @dearingwang
      @dearingwang  10 лет назад

      Hi HMMOV. Thank you. I know. This one is a challenge. But I also hope you enjoy the end result like I do. To me it feels like cleaning my thoughts and putting them in order when I finish the drawings. Even though it takes alot of effort sometimes. Like this one. :) Have fun drawing!

    This is great! It must have taken a lot of time I guess? Do you usually imagine the final look of the drawing first, or do you just start and let it 'develop naturally'?

    • @dearingwang
      @dearingwang  10 лет назад +3

      Hi Anh Nguyen. Thank you for asking. During -offcamera- period I usually try to grow a design with trial and error till a certain point when I am happy about the design. Then when I start filming I have the end result in mind and also the way towards the final result set in place. Otherwise the filming process would get mixed with the creative process and everything would take much longer and be much more messy. So hope to have answered your question. And hope you try one of my designs. Have fun creating..!

    Well I was good eyeballing it but then the millimeters threw me off . . . is the first circle 10cm please? I was going to do 3 inches but then there were mm :) thank you so much, love your designs. I started with a big impossible torus, then I got the nice Staedtler compass, and haven't looked back. I spent this week doing a chakra drawing each night :) peace and love from cold cold Canada EDIT: yes 10 cm diameter (5 cm radius) works just fine with that 4 mm gap incorporated :)

    I get most of your drawings, but this one has me stymied. It looks symmetrical and clever, but I don't get what I am supposed to be seeing. While I believe I am supposed to be seeing interlocking rings, they actually don't. Is there a significance to this drawing Dearing?

    • @dearingwang
      @dearingwang  8 лет назад

      +Rumple Stiltskin The only significance is the 6 fold arrangement. The other part is a expression of art

      I heard alot about Eric Broug. You should google him. I am planning to create an ebook myself on using different geometric styles to create a more modern design. But that won't be finished this year yet. Good luck!
