I have the OMP M2 Evo, essentially the same thing and I love it. Super smooth and easy to fly. I'll eventually get around to picking up one of these, just to have one of each.
This heli is just amazing for it's size! I can't say anything about OMP - we used to work with them, but then they just stopped replying to our emails??? I guess they don't like selling stuff?
I’ve built and flown racing quads fpv in races here in Louisville KY, but have never flown a helicopter. Looks so cool!

7:35 YEAH! What's UP with that behavior!? A few of my Blade helis do that, and my Fusion 180 so bad to the point it's about unflyable! I know it can be fixed, as my Infusion 180 did the same thing. Customer service somehow got me a BNF template to put on my radio, and it solved the issue right there! However, I have NO idea what was changed and why it works better now. If I did, I'd make those changes in my NX-8 to make that crap stop! Even my Fusion 360 does it a bit. THAT'S UGLY when those gorgeous rotors scrape concrete!! None of the RTF models do this, only the BNF's.
yeah, but I can't say why some do, and some don't - I think it has to do with SOFT START of the ESC...or lack thereof.
Looks pretty good. Seemingly a worthy alternative to the Omphobby M2.
It’s better. Have owned both the goosky s2 and the Omp Evo. The FBL of the S2 is a different level. More powerful and responsive also.

My favorite micro helicopter!! Super powerful and for a tail with a motor it holds pretty amazing .
I think it's amazing too. Makes me feel a bit inferior as a heli pilot - LOL
@@BrianPhillipsRC Well Brian I guess all we can do is practice and progress. I'm a much better Heli pilot than an airplane pilot, but I'm still practicing. I watch your vids often and you always have good advice on airplane setup . Without you none of my planes would have reverse thrust nor would I have known about pilot fatigue . Thank you for your videos
I’ve got a DX8. Saw you had an older Spectrum Receiver that you Bound your Spectrum Sat Remote on then plugged it into DSMX Port on S2. Not sure what that Receiver was, Model? I’ve got 3 AR636B’s. No remote Ports. Working my way toward an S2. Need to know what RX to get for Binding outside the Heli.
Actually that was Jeff West did that.
How did you Bind Direct with your Spectrum Sat. Was that a Serial version With Bind Button?

Hi, I just had my first flight with the goosky s2 in auto mode. I noticed it drifting to the right. Do you know what this is due to, I have never flown with it, this is the first time. Thank you.

Mine is still in.the box, with module, but not sure if I have to check the application, down load info from Goo Sky web page, so I was told, or can I just fly it out of the box with the RTF radio.

Looks like a nice heli. Ill go with the new omp m2 evo tho. I already have omp helis and id rather support them. Im not into 3d either. I like helis to look like helicopters when they fly. Im getting into the bigger helis lately. Built an sab raw 420 and have a sab kraken 580 on the way.
Also any computer radio can fly this with slight modifications into the electronics.
You're referring to the SBus input. I believe we covered this in our Unbox, Build, Radio Setup (first one in the playlist)

SWEEET - Great heli. Really stretches me, but what a solid performer. That "mouth" opening feature is surprisingly awesome, btw!
It auto levels, but does drift right? It doesn't have gps, or does it?

It doesn't get hot even with a high head speed and putting it through it paces .
It is very good!
