This is a great topic. I particularly like the different ways you styled the gauzy embroidered top. Sometimes it takes some imagination and experimentation. I remember spending a good part of an afternoon with a particular blouse that I loved (great colour on me), trying it with a number of different tops, pants, skirts, scarves, accessories, shoes, etc. And I wrote down the combinations that I liked the most. I’m going to try this with other pieces too. (Another stylist that I follow highly recommends keeping a “style journal,” and I’m finding this to be a very helpful tip.) Enjoy your day! 🙂🇨🇦
I really like how you styled that vest with the faux leather shorts and skirt. I just might try it with my denim vest, even though it's a darker wash. Yes, I'll round it out with a pair of boots.
I love this type of video: shop your closet, style your hard to style or why don’t I ever wear this! I agree the denim vest when buttoned, ends up looking boxy. I like it open. Maybe you could use a clip at the back to cinch in the waist? Loved the embroidered top. Every single outfit ❤. Same for the wild cat shirt. Thought it looked fab tucked into the pencil skirt.
That's a good point. I'll consider that because knowing the "why" of what draws us to things helps us make better choices in the future. Thanks for watching!
An interesting video. We all have items in our closet that we purchased but rarely reach for. I enjoyed the looks you created and your careful choice of words : enlarging my territory! (Smile)
While I don’t have similar hard to style items, I enjoyed seeing your thought process play out in the different items you paired the difficult items with. I love how you think outside of the box and tried wearing the wildcat shirt backwards to see if it worked better that way. You’ve inspired me to give some of my difficult to style items a second chance.

Sounds good. Dying my vest to make it darker is also on my never-ending list of things to do!
It is a really good topic to address. All the outfits that you put together are all lovely. They are very creative and beautiful!
Thank you so much!
I'm also team white tank top 😀.

I never thought of using a clip in the back. I will try it!
Great video! I wonder if with your vest, maybe the jacket in the inspo also drew you in and you have pieces that would work in that vein.

I hope you come up with some great solutions!
