Being someone who is just coming back to listening to podcasts, snipd is a breath of fresh air. I started to watch podcasts on RUclips because RUclips has chapter support. Snipd allows me to have the same feature for audio. The transcription is perfect as well.
Hey Damien, thanks for featuring CalenTile! It's awesome to see it in one of your videos! I'm obviously biased but you should give it a go with the option to open your stock calendar app turned off, it shows a panel similar to android's internet one which I think you'll love 😄
Thanks for the wallie tips! I used to change mine manually, admittedly several times a day, but since I discovered Earth and Moon (Pro) 3D live wallpaper (I love earth wallpapers) I haven't changed it in last year or two. It's got lots of but easy to manage settings, like detail level, going upto "insane!" setting, lol, which is so darn detailed, you can see the lighting in the clouds, if zoomed out, barely few pixels wide, also aurora, albeit not in real time. Really awesome job, I really recommend checking it out! Sorry to spam your video with more apps! 🍻 🍻
I just ran into Snipd last week and it seems super cool, recently moved to Android from iOS and couldn't find a good free podcast player that'd let me filter new episodes from podcasts and listen across devices, this one comes close in the former
If you touch the screen on one place and hold a thing will pop up. It will say widgets click on that and there is a shorycut or widget for a ton of apps
I could go on and on about my favorite apps. But I'd have to say that my favorite app in recent times is Appbar. This dev also makes Shortcut Maker, which integrates with it. AppBar let's you creste widgets with apps in them! Or browser website shortcuts! Can display my default app, and then scroll down to other related apps within the widget! I either use a 5 x 1 row for 5 apps horizontally that I can flip to the second 5 apps easily, or I use a 1 x 1 widget to change a single default app displayed to another! Much easier than ugly-looking folders of apps or app drawers that just haven't cut it for me! And most launchers like Nova are too resource heavy for me! Love this app!
I bought it a while ago, the app is cool but a bit glitchy, and depending on the launcher you use AppBar can be a bit irrelevant. The Stack view it's an interesting feature, tho.
lots of reviewers miss the fact that lawnchair 12 exists, just not on the playstore. it's very similar to the latest version of the pixel launcher and super great
Buzzkill is a no-brainier for me due to the lack of customization when it comes to the vibration patterns on pixel phones. It also comes with added benefits of customizing how you receive notifications
Aug. 26, 2023...Hi! Great video. Very very clear! Thank you!! I have a question, hope you don't mind....I have a Samsung s22+ and need help moving my photos and videos to some form of storage. Would like to use a flash drive and am considering one by Verbatim. My question is, since I do not have a computer, will I be able to use a flash drive? Ideally, I would like to connect the flash drive, download files off the cell onto it, etc., without having to format the drive, or download software or use a computer... Is this possible? Any suggestions you can toss out there would be very much appreciated! 😊
NEUTRON is my music player of choice. absolutely unrivalled options and control. would you like to assign 20 parametric bands to one unique EQ setting, and 10 graphic bands to another? NEUTRON, BABY!
Excellent list, thank you. Inboxit remains one of my favorites. Put anything into your inbox with 1-click InboxIt appears in your share menu. Click to share via InboxIt, and your item will instantly and privately be waiting for you in your email inbox.
Stocard because it has a larger rcognised range of loyalty cards than Wallet and allows user custom cards such as local library. Square launcher is the onlu one to pull me from Nova, which was the choice when Next Lapumcher died 10 or so years ago. KWGT for designing your own wisgets. Combine that with sending touch commands to Tasker and you can get pretty useful but even without that the sky is a limit creativity wise. Sesame for ultimate search. Fing for all round network analysis Connect to Windows for phone to PC awesome for nom Applers. What The Font to photo text and get a list of the closest computer fonts that match. I have a few more, mostly just fun stuff but only put in play store offials
If you do stick with whatever your devices' stock system launcher is, than at minimum Shortcut Maker is essential. What would make Shortcut Maker almost perfect was if it enabled you to modify progressive web apps that you created from web browsers which are on your home screen.
I tried to make a shortcut that will open my lock screen settings. But it seems that the default directory in shortcut maker isn't the directory that is supposed to be (ie .com.display.Lockscreen....) I tried looking at this at the file manager but I think I cant navigate if my pixel phone is not rooted and I dont want to. Can you pull up some help bro on where can I locate this or how I can fix this stuff. Just want to have a shortcut wherein Im just 1 click away in disabling AOD in my pixel because unlike samsung, pixel doesnt support scheduled AOD.
That clipt seems to be a very good app but privacy is the main concern for me. It's made by a chinese company "Oppo". And we cannot trust it whatsoever. Thier privacy policy clearly says we collect personal data also share them to required authorities if law situations demand so (I believe chinese govt).
CamScanner is a must on my phones. I've used it for years to scan and organize receipts for my business, copy medical documents, scan business cards and even to copy pages from books. Great program that is essential for emailing or making paperwork ready to be faxed. FaxFile. Camscanner gets the documents ready to be faxed but it's more expensive to fax than FaxFile. I have faxed hundreds of documents with FaxFile and it is the cheapest (most reliable) I have found BlueMail I have multiple email accounts on both Yahoo and Google. Rather than trying to switch back and forth between programs, I just use BlueMail to organize and retrieve my mail
Google keep is the best inter-device note sharing app. Unbeatable.
I save all my recipes in Google keep. Easy to find and nicely with layout + pics
It's so simple i like it
Do you use Google Collections too ?
@@markloughtonUK dont really know what you men..
I use Google Keep for sharing text, links and photos to my computer 👍 instead of Clipt 😁
Doesn't it lag after you have lots of notes

Can vouch for wavelet, makes the pixel buds pro much better
Nebula AR is my can't live without app. Paired with my NReal airs and S22. This app is going to explode this year.
Weawow. The best weather app on android. Hands down
This was really helpful, i just got rid of Spotify on my phone to test alternate services so snipd is great
lots of reviewers miss the fact that lawnchair 12 exists, just not on the playstore. it's very similar to the latest version of the pixel launcher and super great
Where can I get it if it's better then the playstore version please?
Clipt is really a useful app. I have been using it since November. It's more convenient than the Windows Phone link.
Buzzkill is a no-brainier for me due to the lack of customization when it comes to the vibration patterns on pixel phones. It also comes with added benefits of customizing how you receive notifications
It's incredible! Does so much and i love it!
Pocket. I'm a Sailor and many times don't have signal. I can find articles and read them because the articles are downloaded in the app.
Finally "infinity for reddit" getting some recognition
Hey man i love your content... Its just that your video's audio is a bit damp.. like i feel like I'm hearing you from the other room... Thats it😊
Essential you say? Andy Rubin's Essential? (I love the PH-1!)
make a video how to use full screen gesture in third party launchers. (no root)

I use Shop all of the time! I love that app!!
"Jackie off - All day" Once or twice, fine but all day? 😬
Lawnchair V2 is way too old...Ruthless launcher is one amazing alternative 👌👌👌
@Shortest Movie Rants It does basic things really really well...personally i feel it is smoother than nova 7...now i have moved to Niagara Launcher
Wavelet ✅
Pushbullet is essential to me. It forwards all my Android notifications to my laptop.
If you have a windows PC, windows can already do that
Wavelet is a game changer
Drupe dialer app, underrated since 2014
Stocards love it
Happy New Year friend's!
4:20 Jackie off... Sounds sus...
I think you and I are the only ones to pick up on that. Or at least comment. 😂
As for the launchers I have the redmi note 10 Pro and can only use 3rd party launchers only with on screen buttons
Action launcher is the absolute best
If I use Google One and the Google Photos app, will the backup duplicate my Photos?
No, they’re not duplicated. Google photos is one part of the G1 package.
Great list!
One oi already have some of these
NEUTRON is my music player of choice. absolutely unrivalled options and control. would you like to assign 20 parametric bands to one unique EQ setting, and 10 graphic bands to another? NEUTRON, BABY!

I wish Clipt was available for Firefox.
@8.24 you mention a free nest mini - HOW DO I GET THAT?!
It's explained in the video. Just pay for the 2TB Google One plan.

THINK ABOUT SECURITY WHEN RECOMMENDING THOSE APPS, CLIPT GAINS THE ACCESS TO YOUR ONE DRIVE 😁... NOT THANK YOU

My favorite apps are sd maid pro and air frozen
Air frozen? It doesn't show up in the Google play store.
maybe he means air drop idk
Does it work on Android 10?
Does what work on Android 10?

I am happy with my Samsung one user interface. It is just awesome. If you ever get tired of stock android, come over to the other side. 😏
Take your bloatwares with you
No
For the Algo
Why do people continue to recommend 3rd party launchers on Pixel devices? The animations on these things are janky as hell.
I think nova fixed it but idk
not everyone is going to agree with your opinion.
The person filming had one too many Xmas drinks shaking all over the place otherwise interesting vid

But blue mail or any other 3rd party email app loses the Gmail categorization (updates, promos etc)... Which are a must to preserve...
