Does the Bible not also say in the book of Proverbs that many are the plans in a man's heart but it's the LORD who determines the outcome? I stand to be rebuked or corrected!
I don't agree. Late Dr Myles Monroe in his book "Principles of individual and collective vision" that if you make a plan for your life in the next 20,30years you can't die but he died while still young. Does it mean the book he wrote must be applied by others and not himself?
@OliviaBila, Dr. Myles Munroe's body was crushed. So terrible! But his work of teachings, publications, leadership, influence, fatherhood, legacy... still live on and many are still being impacted therewith. I was and still am a student of Dr. Myles. If I understood him well in many of his statements and uttered thoughts, a man's life does not consist of the body but if the spirit especially by which he does what he does and how that which he does with his life, lives on after himself. That to me is Success and Dr. Munroe was a success itself. My thoughts b.t.w

I think it will be good if you watch the first series ( part 1) he addressed that issue.
Yes the Bible affirmed that but it doesn’t mean a man shouldn’t plan his life. I will rather be a visionary/planner rather than being visionless.
