Window World (which is also in my hometown of Albany, NY), Mr. Hero and some car dealerships are their current sponsors. You can see them later in the video.
I'm not going to lie, I actually do like the 1995-1996 intros from News Channel 5 (I grew up in Farrell, PA and was able to get TV-5 easily with most of the Cleveland Stations with a good antenna).
Besides becoming the voice for ABC, did Ernie Anderson lend his voice to any other TV stations. I feel like TV5 was the only station that he still did voice work for through the 80's. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
@@nedwart Most of the stations that were voiced by Scott Chapin were affiliated with either NBC or Fox. Both networks were very popular between 1995 and 1999 but NBC would decline in rations between 2003 and 2012.

WEWS, the ABC affiliate in Cleveland, was the first television station in the State of Ohio. Owned by the E.W. Scripps Company, WEWS is the sister station to fellow ABC affiliates WCPO in Cincinnati, WRTV in Indianapolis IN, WXYZ in Detroit MI, and WKBW in Buffalo NY. WEWS is also the sister station to independent WMYD in Detroit. WEWS will soon be the sister station to Ion affiliate WVPX in Akron and Ion Plus affiliate WDLI in Canton.

RIP Nev Chandler (1947-1994)
It's nice I'm not the only one in to "weird" stuff like this
Maybe everything except the current (most recent) graphics.
Fun fact: the success of Morning Exchange helped ABC create "Good Morning America".
One thing that is consistent with this video is Ohio Edison’s proud sponsorship
‘EWS still have sponsors on their opens, but with different businesses. FirstEnergy (formerly Ohio Edison) might be one of the sponsors.
Window World (which is also in my hometown of Albany, NY), Mr. Hero and some car dealerships are their current sponsors. You can see them later in the video.
And The Illuminating Company.
*THE ENERGY MAKERS!*
One of the original Scripps stations I grew up watching.

What about Mike hostetler
Did they just mention Kimberly Gill? I didn't know she worked in Cleveland before coming to Detroit.

Actress Patricia Heaton worked for this channel in the late 1970s. A bit of random trivia there.
WTVF Nashville used the same set this station did in the 70s
And now they are owned by Scripps.
The “Take 5” theme was also used by then-sister WMC-TV Memphis.

He did the announcing for KABC in Los Angeles through the early 90's, possibly until his death in 1997
