And what is so odd about a bird landing on your head? In my household, we barely even notice. It only gets interesting when two of them are up there fighting for dominance.
Cheryl was by far the best. She actually implemented Lola into the segments after that first blooper and even got her a prop to match the forecast lmao. Meredith and Ziggy are definitely 2nd.
Ziggy shutting her laptop the entire segment had me dying of laughter. I loved the man holding his cat as he talked about the weather. Thanks for the videos!
Reminds me of a difficult meeting I was once in, concerning a foundation and lots of us feeling that the board was not doing enough. It took place at the home of one of the board members. When we reached a point at which nobody knew what to say next because we were literally done talking, not figuratively - which was after a lot of talking, I should add - in walked one of the cats, jumped on the table and decidedly closed a binder, wrapping up the meeting. Hilarious!
I love how the animals are interrupting in all the clips but when that blonde reporter is doing a story on her cat, the cat refuses to be in the shot 😂
I love this. They seem like robots until their pets are involved. It makes them much more likable. And I’d rather watch the news with real people instead of the fake persona.
This. They're taught to speak all official-like in a manner that makes it sound like they're not from...well, anywhere...but t's refreshing to see them break character and act human for a bit.
4:35 I love the lady's reaction to the dog showing up. You can tell she's a dog lover. If she could have pet the dog through the screen, she would have.
Some newscasters appear to be stern and unapproachable-- until their precious fur-babies make their presence known. Then all semblance of the work persona dissolves into baby talk. LOVE it!
Dogs are also our owners, but they know they need us, too. Cats actually feel sorry for us and think we are helpless (bringing us dead things like they would a kitten) 😂. I always say animals are the keepers of our hearts, and when they go, they take them with them. Nothing we can do about it, just hand over the key...
That's of course a funny myth. Their world is just more alien to us than perhaps dogs', but they show love, and they try not to do things you do not like or do for you what you do like. Yes, they have often side thoughts (food usually or cuddle), but so do we.. :)

I love how the guy played it so cool when the bird landed on his head. No change in his “attentive listener” face, just a lightening fast swoop as he sets the bird aside. Now that’s a pro!
@5:34 I could not stop laughing! Her dog was so prepared for the summer heat with the shades on. Then the casual look up at the camera took me right on out! So much personality this canine has! Lol
If these tv reporters working from home realized just how endearing and life-affirming these 'pet sightings' are, they would stop feeling the need to apologize. They essentially make the broadcasts that much more compelling and entertaining to watch.
News reporters should still be working from home haha. They are more relaxed and not so stiff like they usually are on the news. This is more relatable.
I don't understand why so many of these people act so embarrassed when their animals wander into their camera shots. I am guessing that they think it's unprofessional. Perhaps they don't realize that we, the audience, find it adorable when the family pet just makes their self at home regardless of the circumstances! And with the news folks working from home thanks to COVID a lot of people, like me, got to see what we love most ... people's dogs and kitties.
This was hysterical, start to finish! Loved them all. For some reason this one really stuck in my mind: "Dixie... stahhhhp.... stahhp Dixie..." ... "Dixie!"
I love how the animals remind the humans that no matter how serious they think human society is the natural world goes on with or without their concerns.
I was amazed and impressed at cutie beagle Lola that she kept the "sunnies" on. My dogs would have pawed those sunnies right off in an instant...enough of that ! 😁😁😁 But Lola seems like a very calm, "chill" doggie, so I guess it's kind of fitting that she would keep the glasses on. Her owner Cheryl Scott is very charming ...a face meant for the cameras as well. They're a team ! She's my local "weather lady" so I watch her pretty often.
My fav moments (will be updating/editing throughout video) 1:24 cat licking it’s butt 3:10 the ladie’s reaction to the bird landing on his head 10:25 THE PANIC 11:34 the sweetest little mew 12:10 SHE JUST CANT KEEP THEM IN SHOT HAHAH 18:27 the cat keeps shutting/trying to shut the laptop
I live in the viewing area for Cheryl Scott. I make sure I watch her weather forecasts so I can see her dog Lola! Even though I have my own dog, I love seeing everyone’s pets. They make me happy!
12:07 the fact that she actually WANTED her cats in the shot, but they were having none of it, is even funnier xD Also kinda hoped for more bird/parrot owners. Imagine a macaw screaming the song of his people in the background? XD
Cheryl Scott's dog is a mega star! I love these! This is how the news should ALWAYS be done. Makes the news crew seem human, rather than like robots. 💛
This makes me love animals so much more. In my life, ppl have hurt me, disappointed me, etc. But none of my animals have. They actually made me feel better! Animals, all animals, rule!!!
Never enjoyed the news as much as I did while the news people worked at home, maybe they should always do it that way, makes the news so much better love it !!! And the animals were the best !!!
From where I stand, this whole thing was a lovely reminder that we're all human. Made the news a lot more pleasant to watch and brought 2 minutes of joy and laughter to everyone!
The cat ones are the best because I can guarantee those fluffy troublemakers didn't want any attention when the newscasters weren't working. But as soon as work must be done, they need attention right meow. 🤣
The bird one made me laugh out loud, but they were all great! And cats do know they are sabotaging your computer. Dogs just want the attention, cats want to get you back a little while they’re getting it 😂. Have a lovely day, whoever sees this. You aren’t ever alone ❤️
I love when the animals are in the shots, it makes many people smile. No need to be embarassed or sorry. This would be a great way to show off pets that are available for adoption. ❤️
I really hope that when it all goes back to normal, that Lola will be allowed to go into the job with Cheryl... That would put a smile on many faces. The same for many other pets on this video.
Agree!. 16:02 I love how he eyed the microphone and then looks at her like: Nah, you talk... I'am just going to make you company, to make the news better. The other dog: Hey!. I'am here too!
I love that universal Look dog owners give their dogs when the owners really NEED to be annoyed with them, but just can't 'cause they love their doggos and they're too cute to stay mad at.
"For a lot of people the best part of being home is spending time with their pets" so she tried to say, but the cat wasn't having any of it!! This video is heartwarming to say the least. News reporters should still be working from home haha. They are more relaxed and not so stiff like they usually are on the news. This is more relatable.
💯
I don't understand why so many of these people act so embarrassed when their animals wander into their camera shots. I am guessing that they think it's unprofessional. Perhaps they don't realize that we, the audience, find it adorable when the family pet just makes their self at home regardless of the circumstances! And with the news folks working from home thanks to COVID a lot of people, like me, got to see what we love most ... people's dogs and kitties.
That's just the "anal retention" atmosphere of in studio news programs. Everything has to run like clock work. I love at home news, ⏰🕒⏰⏰⏰
@@GeorgeJansen you must be in that business. If you are please tell me we love it!
It’s Covid year and I’m sure everyone would put a smile and laugh so priceless 👍👍 no need to be embarrassed. It’s part of “work at home”
God bless you Jesus is the way
@@Joseph__777 UGH! Spare me.
When they want them in the camera...they dont want to be....When they dont want them in the camera... they want to be....lmao
That's cats for ya....
Cats always want the opposite of what others want at all times.
Sound like children.
Love the lady in yellow getting in all kinds of positions to showcase her cat for a story on the best part of working from home. Hilarious!
100% we should as a society keep the pets in local news
This was hysterical, start to finish! Loved them all. For some reason this one really stuck in my mind: "Dixie... stahhhhp.... stahhp Dixie..." ... "Dixie!"
LOL, and Maple, towards the end. The guy was exasperated. 😂
The stahp is so relatable
I have a Dixie, too.
I love how the animals remind the humans that no matter how serious they think human society is the natural world goes on with or without their concerns.
That guy is so sweet with Maple. LOL but Maple OMG had me cracking up. She was gonna get her 15 minutes or at least the last word ! LOL
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🐶👏
Lola with her pink sunnies! The sass 😂 If the news was full of pets like this every time I’d love it 🤣
The cat sitting right behind the presenter while merrily going to town on its own bits was bloody hilarious 😂
Lola's amazing. I loved it when Cheryl put sunglasses on her 5:35. 🕶️🌞
Omg I readed at the exact moment xd
And she just looking at her like a classy grandma 😂
Lola rocking those shades! 😎🐶
ayyy... feelin at the beach
Cute. The weather person named her cat “Stormy”
My aunt's cat's name is Stormy!
Also, a dog named Storm up in Canada
Maybe “three, two, one” is a trigger for these pets now.
I'm dying 🤣 the two cats fighting in the background was priceless. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi how are you doing?
@@Godwinpounds4333 hi. I'm doing well, how are you?
@@cpdfan41 I’m doing good, its nice meeting with you here. Where are you texting from?
Toddlers when you're making an important call
My fav moments (will be updating/editing throughout video)
1:24 cat licking it’s butt
3:10 the ladie’s reaction to the bird landing on his head
10:25 THE PANIC
11:34 the sweetest little mew
12:10 SHE JUST CANT KEEP THEM IN SHOT HAHAH
18:27 the cat keeps shutting/trying to shut the laptop
@01:24 Yes The cat doing the spready to the gods while licking herself was the funniest one.
Conspiracy theory: Dogs made the virus in order to keep their humans at home
Dogs are not evil they would never hurt their owners.
@@amofrijoles I completely agree, it must've been the cats.
Both cats and dogs are not evil
@@dqw4w9wgxcq32 Cats are not evil either.
@kevin lawrence How are they evil? You remind me of someone in my class who keeps saying cats are evil 😂
2:56 "Why. . ?"
"Because I'm the real star here and you love me, THAT'S why hun. . ."
That deadpan look the cat gives is priceless!!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I live in the viewing area for Cheryl Scott. I make sure I watch her weather forecasts so I can see her dog Lola! Even though I have my own dog, I love seeing everyone’s pets. They make me happy!
Yes! We need more informal shenanigans like animal wackery!
She has a well-behaving pet!
I live in that area too!
Me too-totally agree 😅
Some of the reactions were so cute and pure.
The orange cat who was grooming took the cake.
And the two fighting
12:07 the fact that she actually WANTED her cats in the shot, but they were having none of it, is even funnier xD
Also kinda hoped for more bird/parrot owners. Imagine a macaw screaming the song of his people in the background? XD
Cheryl Scott's dog is a mega star! I love these! This is how the news should ALWAYS be done. Makes the news crew seem human, rather than like robots. 💛
Behind every successful human seems to be a cute furball.
Or a feathered friend
This makes me love animals so much more. In my life, ppl have hurt me, disappointed me, etc. But none of my animals have. They actually made me feel better! Animals, all animals, rule!!!
Amen!!! I second this!! People suck but pets never do!
@@HillbillyTrash yes! Ppl suck!! Lol u hit the nail on the head
Fur reals n trues. Animals make this world bearable.
I just love that dog casually walking down the stairs at 14:35 to greet his human.
The blonde reporter trying to get her cats in a few shot cracks me up.
I can watch these news all day long!
Cheryl Scott makes my night because we get to see her dog Lola every time she checks in for the weather
Never enjoyed the news as much as I did while the news people worked at home, maybe they should always do it that way, makes the news so much better love it !!! And the animals were the best !!!
2:56
That cat is like “Yo what you doing. Oh we on film? Sorry bout’ that”
From where I stand, this whole thing was a lovely reminder that we're all human. Made the news a lot more pleasant to watch and brought 2 minutes of joy and laughter to everyone!
3:15 he has a beautiful smile
The cat ones are the best because I can guarantee those fluffy troublemakers didn't want any attention when the newscasters weren't working. But as soon as work must be done, they need attention right meow. 🤣
The meteorologist cat is called Stormy...
The bird one made me laugh out loud, but they were all great! And cats do know they are sabotaging your computer. Dogs just want the attention, cats want to get you back a little while they’re getting it 😂.
Have a lovely day, whoever sees this. You aren’t ever alone ❤️
I love how the cats were all over everything until their families actually wanted them in the shot and then they refused.
I love when the animals are in the shots, it makes many people smile. No need to be embarassed or sorry. This would be a great way to show off pets that are available for adoption. ❤️
At 1:46 the cats have the whole house but have to fight each other on camera lol 😂
I really hope that when it all goes back to normal, that Lola will be allowed to go into the job with Cheryl... That would put a smile on many faces. The same for many other pets on this video.
At-home news is fun. I like seeing people's houses and pets and real life. The news needs more pets.
Hello Cori
4:38 🙂 -> 😃 “OOH! DOGGY!” Pure 🥰
I like how professional is Cherill. She started to use doggy like a visit card.Outstanding move!
I don't know the last time I had so much fun watching the news. They should keep it this way..
The cat that jumped up at 2:55 was way so funny and unpredictable that I laughed longer than expected. Made my day 🤣
The lady and the guy with the two cats fighting. 🤣
Too much action on TV 🤣🤣
9:45 he just parked himself right in the shot! Haha!
Cheryl Scott knew exactly what she’s doing 😂
The dogs on the stairs. The best. ☺️
Agree!.
16:02 I love how he eyed the microphone and then looks at her like: Nah, you talk... I'am just going to make you company, to make the news better.
The other dog: Hey!. I'am here too!
That was the cutest
Agreed
Someone please tell me who is the blonde lady at 13:54 where the cat just refuses to be in her shot? That look of defeat 😂
Her name is Kim Powell twitter.com/KimPowellTV
Elsa Jean
That was my favorite 🤣🤣🤣
I love that universal Look dog owners give their dogs when the owners really NEED to be annoyed with them, but just can't 'cause they love their doggos and they're too cute to stay mad at.
"For a lot of people the best part of being home is spending time with their pets" so she tried to say, but the cat wasn't having any of it!! This video is heartwarming to say the least. I so agree with other comments that the world of TV would be better with the pets. Snoring dogs, purring cats, we just need them all. Biggie, my bud is you rule
Cheryl Scott was my. Favorite, she incorporated Lola in such a charming way. Love her!
10:08 "are you in my shot still?"
*woof*
2:55 Omg this cat's look is golden
😂😭😂
I love it everytime I see it in one of these videos! That face is so cute!!!!!! 🤣❤️
"...WHY"
The cat has a beautiful eyes like his owner
He's like: "Who you talkin' to?"
2:58 "Is there anyone there? No?"

Cat: What part of "informed consent" don't you understand! I SAID NO
What she's thinking each time her cat moves away: "unless you have a a*hole cat like mine" 😼
As soon as she is finished filming for the day and sits on the couch that cat will jump on her lap and say "Oh hey, you wanna hang out?".
@@inkuna I actually see that happening 🤣
