Do you hunt the main river or the sloughs? Escambia is loaded with woodies but 99.9% of people are too lazy to jump logs and stuff like that to get to the better spots and instead pass shoot ducks on the main river which is effective early in the season but then the ducks wise up and fly higher along the main river or avoid it altogether.
