For those asking for the meaning of “Robo skeske” It actually doesnt have a precise meaning, however in the song it is been used as a “nom de caresse” for her supposed boyfriend in the song. “Nom de caresse” in english means “affectionate name” or “pet name”. A name use to pet someone. For example, your boyfriend’s name is John but you call him Jonny, your girl friend’s name is Fatimata but you call her Fatibumbum etc. In this song her supposed Roboskeske real first name might be “Robert” or “Robinson”.
Now let me give you the full meaning of the sentence she used with Roboskeke.
- 0:30 Roboskeke roboskeke if no be you, then tell me who? = She is trying to tell her supposed Robert or Robinson ( Roboskeke) that if she aint with him who else will she be with?
- 0:35 Dem go sempe dem go sempe nobody messing with my boo oo = Sempe in Yoruba street language means “stay aside” or “keep away from something or somewhere”. So this sentence means every other lady will have to keep off her man ( Roboskeske) cos no one messes with what belongs to her.

Vladeks Obamagurovs First of all, Olamide said Skeske Roboske which is different from what Tiwa is saying in this music. How does skeske roboske and Roboskeske mean the same to you? They both aint saying the samething. If you listen to the full sentence made by Tiwa you will understand that Roboskeske is used in the music as a “ nom de caresse” ( Pet name ) to someone.
