By the way, I had a look at Seymour's scan description if anyone was curious about him. Taken from the Final Fantasy Wiki, his description reads as follows:
"A maester of Yevon and leader of the Guado. He seems disinclined to summon aeons, but his powers are great. He can draw upon magic of all four elements as well as upon healing spells. His Overdrive Requiem deals a devastating blow to all enemies."

Seymour specifically doesn’t summon Anima because at that point the Yevon religion is trying to maximize the amount of death in the Mi’hen operation, they only came as observers to report what happens if you go against Yevon’s teachings and to further propagandize the Al Bhed.
Seymour specifically cannot summon then as well because his ultimate goal is the mass and complete death of Spira and only chooses to fight with Yuna because he was there and it keeps his cover as a benevolent priest towards people he wants to manipulate.
@@bloodyidit4506 he meant while fighting the sin spawn, not sin. You can use requiem but you can't summon anima. They are just killing the spawn to protect yuna, I think your comment is out of subject :D no offense

Headcannon: scans come straight out from Jecht's spirit.
The scan data says Tidus' attacks lack power, and that Wakka's attacks are powerful.
Tidus starts the game with higher strength than Wakka.
Wakka's sphere grid does take him through a route that gives him a good amount of attack. But, if that's not good enough, just imagine how powerful you must be to throw a ball so hard it does thousands of damage.
@@Zinx10 That's true. For Wakka to do almost as much damage with a ball as Tidus does with a sword he would have to be canonically much stronger.

@@lordchiopet1630 A sword is sharp and heavy, of course it's going to do more damage than a rubber ball.
Tidus swings his swords downward, so the forces acting on them when they've been swung can actually help them cause more damage, due to their weight and gravity increasing the momentum of the swing. The blade's flat, angled design also makes it cut through the air easier, since there's less of it to be slowed down by the air.
On the other hand, the forces acting on the ball Wakka throws actually makes it harder for it to do any real damage. When you throw a ball, it has to fight air friction and gravity as it goes, both of which slow it down. As the ball travels, it's slowed down by the air it goes through, meaning when it hits the target, it's actually going slower then when it was first thrown. Gravity would also be pulling down on the ball as well, slowing it down further as the planet's mass draws the ball back to the ground. There's also several other variables that you need to take into account when throwing a ball such as wind speed, and direction, and the additional air friction that acts on the ball when it has spikes or other additions, but I'll skip that discussion in order to stop this Comment from being more of a Physics essay than it already is.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is, the weight, design, and gravity actually help increase the momentum of the sword when it's swung, making it require less strength to do substantial damage to an enemy. However, the air friction, gravity, and design of a ball actually slows it down after it has been thrown, meaning it need more strength behind it to actually do significant damage.
I imagine the fiend try to say: "Kill me or leave me, but stop scanning your teammates..."

Seems legit.
If you level her up enough on the Sphere Grid, Rikku will obtain that level of strength, but by default, she has the weakest attack.
The Yellow Elemental watchint Rikku scan her allies for five minutes: 👁👄👁
Also that elemental being impatient to zap rikku again to annoys her phobia

@@jakewulgar In final fantasy mobius the voice actor for for tidus returns and Tidus tells his story to the warrior of light and he mentions that in Spira nobody ever called him by his name. He also pronounces his name as Teedus not Tiedus
When you scan Auron, that is the only time where your player name is read in context. I never knew or thought to do this, that is so cool, such attention to small details :D
Yep. Wish they made games like these nowadays. They come rare and few in between if i'm gonna be honest. The attention to detail and how well written this game is, still always baffles and amazes me.

For such a linear game, FF10 is still throwing surprises at you, 20 years later. You could play a hundred times, and you'll still find new things.

The dodge 200 lightning bolts was so bad people were on reddit offering to edit save files for money to max him out.
I don't know what legendary equipment you mean in this video. No one in this video is wear their celestial weapon. Your statement about the HP of Kimahri vs the rest is still true, but I have no idea where you get the legendary equipment thing from.

Tidus comes back to life during a special where you can play as him and reunite with FFX Yuna and in the game Tidus says nobody in Spira called him by his name and He calls himself Teedus. The voice actor confirms this as well.

This scan mentions her speed. Everyone in this game can have 255 in each stat, if you train them enough and know what you're doing. That being said, my team in my current playthrough consists of Tidus, Rikku, Wakka. They have the best/most useful Overdrives and are the only ones, that can fight under water. Also, Rikku is best girl.

Yea, got her maxed up equipments & her nodes first "by accident" and then decided to move her to Auron' nodes. And that was one of the best accidents I've ever had in FF Series
Yeah not only is her character phenomenal in terms of design, VA, and plot, but she can solo a lot of the game if not all of it just because of her Overdrives alone. The video that instantly comes to mind is Darkkefka's video on her solo-ing Nemesis. It's a really old 14 year old video but it's one of the first I could remember watching to really demonstrate her potential:

I'm playing blind and found out easily this should work. But I've only scanned Auron so far. At least, the sensors are too OP, in my opinion. Like clairvoyants, they can even tell in which order and how an opponent will attack. Which shouldn't be a thing, either. The enemy AI is too bad. Seymour attacking with magic in a specific order at all times? He died and even risked being sent if he purposely played around.

Ok. Am I an idiot for just watching this casually until I read that Auron watched over "Tristan" and then having a mental breakdown trying to think who tf "Tristan" was? I will never understand why they let you name Tidus but no one else, especially when it causes so many awkward lines in X-2
It's a holdover from earlier JRPGs without voice acting. Sometimes the protagonist was a blank slate stand in for the player like some classic Pokemon. Though that's not really the case with FFX Tidus has his own personality and choices.

Wow!...ive had 3 playthrus since the ps2 to the ps4...got the platinum for this sucker on one of em & I never thought of doing this until seeing this now & I managed to customise ribbon for 3 characters so u know I played this for hours...lol...all those hrs & this never crossed my mind.

This is pretty neat. I would never think to scan my own party members...I honestly cannot remember the last time I even used that spell lol!
Rikku has quite a few immunities it seems, not so sure about her being immune to confusion what with her scanning herself though.
I put that on her for her gear because of the Malboro. Got tired of dealing with Bad Breath in Omega Ruins and I didn't have a ribbon at the time.

Honestly I just feel validated because you clearly never wasted spheres on Kimahri and I've always benched him.
this was awesome..never knew any of this or even tried to scan party members :)
I like how the enemies are just standing there waiting for them to finish scanning each other lol very realistic
I have the platinum for this game but never thought to scan my party members. Thanks for the upload.
