The Spurs were all drafted. Big three usually refers to bringing in at least two.
So that mean warriors weren’t a super team .
Spurs are known as a Tim Duncan solo act unfortunately
Even ‘99 Chip with prime DRobinson.
Prime Ginobili & Prime Parker wasn’t super stars. Spurs had depth with DRobinson, BBowen, SJackson, ADaniels, SKerr, etc.
Plus HOF coach Popovich
@@manniesupasport7977 Pop was not a HOF coach before Duncan got there and they started winning. 1st 2 rings they def talked about the twin towers so it wasn't a Duncan solo act. Later on it became more of a Duncan solo act with very good players that fit around him. No way Ginobili or Parker would sniff the HOF without all the winning the Spurs did because their talent alone never had them honestly in the top 5-10 players in the league.
@Zoorii 2015, 2016 Warriors aren't a superteam, correct.
These dummies in Phoenix trying to take short cuts still. Who’s gonna screen? Guard? Rebound? Beal is a lesser Booker
Short cuts exactly
1) There is no real leader on the team

3) you have a defensive minded coach with a offensive team

I just see no one beating this team, even Denver and the Suns, who went 6 and the Suns literally took them on with two players. Now they have a third superstar. Plus, Denver is probably going to lose a couple players in free agency. They going have a hard time guarding us with trying double team Booker and leave so much for Beal. They're going to take Book as much as I would rather try to trade -yton for Turner, leaving Conell or Hield. Hield off the bench would give us like 18 and then Turner can play defense shoot 3's. And give you something like 14 to 16 games with 8 boards, but I want Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovi. That would be nice for us. Capela is strong, giving you a lot of boards and second-chance points, and Bogdan is a good shooter; he'll get a lot of open shots too. Especially if another superstar is seated next to him. Okay for context as a OKC fan. We had Ibaka who was a DPOY caliber pf/c. Also to make it work. Harden was on the bench most of the game except for the 4th quarter. And even sometimes he didn’t play if his shot wasn’t falling.
Exactly their pure shooting is going to be ridiculous, you can’t double off of any of these guys and booker/Beal especially are really good at beating players off the dribble especially on late close outs I. E doubling someone else. Kd and book already proved in the playoffs they can be “playmakers”. No one is stopping jokic outside of maybe the bucks with Jrue guarding Murray with Gianni’s and brook. If we had someone else to make shots outside of kd and book. we take game 2 in Denver. If we do keep ayton, we really need to carve out an offensive role. We just need guys like torey Craig who shoot above 45% we have too many guys shooting low 40s

What about the bench?
OKC wasn't a "big 3". Harden was coming off the bench and averaged 12.7ppg, 3.4rpg, and 2.5 apg in OKC.
If that's a "big 3", then so was LBJ, AD, and Russ. Russ was averaging 15.2ppg, 5.4rpg, and 6.8 apg off the bench in LA and was averaging 18/7/7 as a starter.
Yea but Russell is a top 75 player at the end of the day who avg went up in the playoffs with the clippers especially in that suns series, Russ had to play a certain way with lebron just like Kevin love and Chris Bosh who numbers dropped a lot because of the role
If fhe team was built organically, its not a superteam. But if 1 allstar in their prime joins 2 other allstars in their prime then that's a superteam. It shouldn't be difficult to understand what's a superteam.

What an odd star power trade
The issue in Brooklyn was obvioulsy injuries and Kyrie's drama but also Steve Nash who had no system in place neither on offense or defense, the thing that Phoenix has going for them is that they brought Frank Vogel who is a defensive mind coach plus they kept Ayton I know people are down on him but Vogel usually maximizes Big men
Exactly. Lakers are stupid, Idk how you get rid of the coach who led you to title only two years before that..
I think the core of Booker KD Beal & Ayton is something people are really underestimating.
@pleasedonttemptme5963 they're going to get blown off the court whenever their stars are resting, they'll win a lot of games in the regular season, but this won't work in the playoffs, The stars will get a 10 point lead just to have the bench down by 15 by the time they come back
@@TonicBlaze12This is a different year. There have been ‘5’ different champions since 2019 so the field is open. Beal is a massive upgrade over CP3 who is aging and declining hard (Beal is ‘8’ years younger than Chris Paul)
I am not saying they will win, but it’s clear they are better, also adding Beal (23 ppg) allows them to keep at least 1 of their 4 stars (Booker KD Beal Ayton) on the court always so the bench is less important for them.
They were #4 in the West a top seed.. They can easily be that or better this season with this talent that much is clear
How do you know Nash had no system in place? You think Kyrie was trying to run it? lololol.
Even if they didn’t have any of those issues they are not winning a championship with lack of playoff level defense and rebounding. I’m a Nets fan too
Solid point regarding DB potentially playing a lot of minutes at PG Beal makes a much better two anyways. Booker has incredible handles and I think would make a very nice effective PG
In these playoffs, Booker led the league in scoring, shot 61 % from 2p, 51 % from 3p.
MPJ is on rhythm guitar
Maybe the suns can send ayton to the hawks for a capela centered package. Theyd probably need a third team to make it work but I think capela brings exactly what they need (rim protection and rebounding) and ayton could absolutely make the hawks better by giving them a true second/third option scorer.
Capela wit another good role player like bodganvanic to match ayton salary
That’s not good enough. They should trade with Brooklyn. Send Ayton there for Claxton, Finney Smith and ONeal.

KD can’t win without a superteam let’s be honest here.
Winning a championship in the NBA is not guaranteed, even for super teams. While assembling a team with multiple star players increases the chances of success, there are various factors that can affect the outcome, such as injuries, team chemistry, coaching strategies, and the overall level of competition in the league. Winning a championship requires consistent effort, skill, teamwork, and a bit of luck.

Three teams are over the second apron (183) currently; GS at 206, Clips at 194 and Phoenix at 192. Fine they can live over the second apron, it’s just expensive, limits options and reduces benefits, but for how long especially as only one team can win. Suspect all three make desperation moves at the start of the season to get under that apron and leave their teams unbalanced, plus create good value for smarter teams.
The worst part of this trade that nobody seems to be talking about is the fact that Beal retains his no trade clause. They are stuck with Booker, Beal, and Durant. At least Lakers got rid of Westbrook. If this doesn't work, it's, oh well.
It’s okay. KD will force his way out halfway through the season

Just open the lane for those guys to drop 50pts and hope that KD/Beal/Booker can out-score them with 3s.
@@tigera6that worked incredibly in brooklyn
Who’s going to initiate the offense and create shots? All 3 can get there own shot but they will be thin in depth again, shaky defensively and in a “win now” situation.
All three are good, or even great, passers.
Them talking about a trade before the offseason without seeing if they can get the depth is crazy 😂
So no one is gonna address how durant keeps moving from one super team to another
Besides Golden State, where else? He went to Brooklyn with Kyrie, but traded most of the depth to be able to join, and Harden was later traded for. Suns had Booker and CP who is not the same CP as before. Again, they traded their depth.
Does nick address lebron doing it ?
We don’t care that’s why, ..
@@brentt8940 at least others do and did
They said the same about James , KY, and Kd and them mf played flawlessly together. The injury bug is the only thing that beat them
Harden's assist numbers were good before he went to Brooklyn.
@@brownshit1 oookkk ??
@@brownshit1were you tryna disprove his point cause if so you failed miserably
I'll take prime harden, kyrie and KD over prime booker, beal and a 35 year old KD
Ballmer tried to buy a chip, didn’t work, Joe Tsai tried to buy a chip, didn’t work, and now Ishbia trying to buy a chip 😂😂😂
Worked for Toronto tho.... But I see ur point. 25% isn't great odds in terms of trying to buy a Chip.
Injury is the only concern. You can fill out your roster. But 3 players who play 60% of the season.....1 of those top 3 guys missed playoff games and they are done just like that. You mitigate that by having 1 superstar, 1 star and 5 good players and a couple hungry rookies
Chris paul has played for so many teams
thats because hes not a winner and a bad teammate. nobody actually likes him as a person
Because he a fraud
Wow. Another “block buster” trade by The Suns!!!
Pity the sun doesn’t shine at night🤔🤔
This is not fair
