you draw andrew's pitchfork in a wrong way bro
according to the inventor him self and temothy morge there are two kinds of pitchforks
regular and modified shiff
regular is drawn on a sequence of " high , low , higher high " or " low , high , lower low "
modified shiff is drawn on " high , low , lower high " or " low , high , higher low "
in trading view website you can find the modified shiff option in the setting after you draw a pitchfork and u can figure out how to do it manually
another thing is when you want to encapsulate more price you don't juat extend lines randomly , there are many different ways and one of them is to add fibbonacci levels specially 1.618%
all pitchforks in this video are painted in a wrong way except for one only

The best trader in technical analysis purely uses it. If yall want to know how good it is. It predicted the amzons earning’s unicorn. The group I'm in used unusual option activity to determine the calls on options, but I used the Andrews. I don't play earnings but many of my group did and the onces who did got a return of 1000% the next day. I highly recommend mastering the Andrews and the modified schiff. I just started trading 3 months ago but ever since ive studied the Andrews I now have better understanding than my mentor who's been trading for 10 years plus.

I love the pitchfork. I use it on almost every trade with the Schiff line. Great video ! It's one of the only indicators that doesn't lag and is a true leading indicator

hmm you can't really use pitchfork on many charts. So it is really not a leading indicator
Just using an average and volume on the stuff my scanner produces. But nicely presented all the indicators that are out there. Ultimately, price/volume development is king.

What I’ve always learned from the Secret Mindset is to start with the simple tools first. Then you build on that. A lot of these tools are built on similar calculations but my understanding is that the pitchfork will give you an at the market real price guide to work from rather than relying on lagging prices. I’m so glad I’m here because now using the pitchfork allows me to bring in a much bigger picture view of the market and when and where to take an entry and exit. Thanks a million, as always!

I am trading in index(Nifty) i.e only 6 hours 15 minutes in a day. Can you please tell me the what timeframes are good to see in the above scenario. I am a day trader. So, i thought daily, hourly, 15 minutes is enough i Felt. Am i correct. Kindly advise.
The Pitchfork on Binance (Tradingview) chart isnt correct. It works fine on TV website, just not on Binance website.

You can also draw them by yourselves. Using the arrow trends. The wicks are your friends. It Very effective.

Already edited a video on Fib expansions. I used Gann's Square of Nine a couple of years ago, as an additional layer, it has a lot of potential.

To Me.....I see a parallel to the Gann Fan using schiff lines. And the pitchfork to a Linear Regression Channel. They are more than likely based on different Math, but seems to be an important tool to use. Thank You for sharing this.

On the example of the shift line we can see when the trend reverses, but what about the shift line on the very next example on min 6:47. How can we draw the shift line? Great video and explanation btw.
Aguelito79 I think it’s the same way, from the wick to the next lower high wick, except that the shift line would be closer to the pitchfork. A to high C

Thankyou. I have been trying to use the pitchfork without much success but kept coming back to it as I could easily identify it after the trend but to determine the trend earlier was hard. Now I can clearly identify the trend and these extra tips will help immensely. If you copy the Shiff line to previous highs or lows you will also get potential take profit zones. Yes??

It's not an indicators, it's a tool. You can find it on any platform.
If you know direction of the market and good risk management
This looks very similar to the Parallel Channel drawing tool in TradingView. You draw a line connecting two or more pivot points and then move the cursor to the other pivot points and it creates a channel with a dashed median line through the upper and lower lines.
Am just starting to learn charts and the use of them. Thank you for taking the time to make (from a newbies point of view) an easy to follow expiation of Andrews Pirchfork. Subbed and about to go over all your content. cheers

@@alinaswechabota3901 Unless you have a way to use it under 10-15 bars they simply rarely work on short or volatile trends , its strength is defining the trades within it which only comes from an extended trend.
