My answer: a personal favourite strategy of mine that i like to call the Battle Bros where Gararewl uses protect and Pajay uses lava plume its not viable as far as im aware but damn if it isnt fun to do
This theme suits the idea of Nuclear Pokémon perfectly. The fast chaotic pace, the very high pitched notes, the very low base chords, the drums, and EVEN A FRICKIN GEIGER COUNTER! This truly conveys the concept of this fan game's main gimmick . . . . . SHEER AND TOTAL UTTER CHAOS!!!🤯
Then again they were infected by the nuclear energy so... I don't know the game much but I remember they appeared in a (abandoned?) nuclear power plant
Th most creeped out i've been in a pokemon game was the abandoned nuclear facility at the epsilon nuclear power plant, i recommend using max repels for a creepier experience
emdashe (previously known as electricmudkip) made some of the music in the fangame like this one, i was complementing them because this is one of my favorite tracks, emdashe has composed music for many pokemon fan games
What I love about these fan games is the guts to make it grittier. Fans don't have the danger of making less money because their game is too dark to get the 0-and-up age rating. And this one is especially good.
0:00-0:41 This part right here... DAMN. Pretty darn sure this is where the story REALLY hooked me when I heard it for the first time at Nuclear Plant Epsilon. There's just a certain emotion that I get from it that makes me really feel for the Nuclear Pokemon. I just... _wow._
I never really bothered with fan-made games but I'm very glad I went through the trouble to download this! (Actually, it wasn't that hard.) This game feels just like the old games, I missed how challenging they can be. The new fan-made Pokémon are all cool and very well made! Plus the soundtrack is just downright awesome! No regrets downloading this game!
@@silvertiptetra1771 I don't exactly know what did Nintendo say to the creators of Pokémon Uranium, but apparently the later stopped its development to "respect Nintendo's wishes". Now all they can do is bugfixing, which is a good thing, but still I wish there was a way for them to finish the postgame (the quest of the pirates involving Tsukinami and the legendary sea trio, also Aotius and Mutios) but dreams are just that.
"Wasn't that hard"? Bruh my pokemon are always under leveled even after I battled EVERY trainer in each route (I'm in Nuclear Plant Zeta). But seroiusly man.
This theme is awesome and it sounds even cooler in-game. ;) Just a clarification: Nuclear Pokémon are "corrupted" regular Pokemon that appear in irradiated areas. They are more aggressive than normal Pokémon, and the Nuclear type is strong against nearly every other type so they are quite dangerous. But they are also weak to every other type, so you gotta strike first and hit 'em hard in order to win!
+Shayminthedoctor Sort of. They're a bit different though. And there are also "native" Nuclear-types, like Nucleon and the game's main legendary, Urayne. They can't be purified but they won't disobey in battle.
I see... But as far as typing goes, Shadow is clearly better because it isn't weak to anything but is still super effective to everything but itself. Granted, all that shadow Pokemon wants to do is eat your face off, but it will wreck everything in its way.
So, I've played tons of games. Some of them had battle themes like the Mario and Luigi franchise or the Pokemon franchise and there were so many damn epic soundtracks in those games, that I got goosebumps every time hearing them. After getting Pokemon Uranium, I noticed, that the Battle vs. Trainer theme was quite good, so I looked it up on RUclips and found more themes and I saw this and thought: "Radioactive Pokemon? That's awesome!". Then I heared this and was completely astonished. This is, by far, the most epic theme I have ever, ever, heared. The speed of the songs makes me think of actual radioactivity and the melody is really frightening, just as Uranium and other radioactive elements. The best parts about this theme are the sound effects: 1. The electricity effects are great, as electricity is incredibly dangerous aswell. 2. The rhytmic screams in the background after the encounter intro. They're so scary and, for me, also represent and remind me of radioactivity and especially it's creepy sign, since you know when you see this sign near you, you are screwed. and most notably and by far the best: 3. The Geiger Counter. I can't believe this level of creativity, as I would've never ever gotten the idea to add those to the very fitting game, setting and, of course, the soundtrack. Again, this is tremendous work and one of the best game soundtracks I have ever heared, maybe even the best one yet.
HELL YEAH! Love the upbeat intensity of this! The geiger counter sample was a nice touch. Downloading Uranium was a smart choice. Can't wait to pop it open and catch myself some Nukemon.
Good luck with that. The starting town has one way out, which is through a grueling hike through a massive amount of grass and trainers. Oh yeah, you don't have pokeballs yet. What's that? You'll just buy lots of potions? There's no store. Or pokemon center. Hope you're not playing nuzlocke.
i love how this has a feel to this, almost as if these are highly dangerous creatures that should be feared by everyone, but they arent supposed to be, not on their own will i mean.
Not gonna lie, the best pokemon ost I have ever heard. Even if its not official. Actually all the soundtrack is very good, the only weak one is the Theo battle theme.

THIS is my jam. By far, the best bit of goddamned Pokemon music I've found, fan-made or otherwise. It's chaotic, frenzied, intimidating, oddly upbeat, insanely catchy, and has a powerful motif (Especially at 0:40 to 1:02). Not to mention, the points in the game where this kicks in are by far some the most dangerous portions of any Pokemon game, just due to the sheer power of the type itself in being a supereffective nightmare. One stray crit, one Nuclear move that plays on your lower defense stat, one stat lower, and you'd better start praying. I freakin' LOVE this theme, it's become almost something I'd associate as like my personal anthem. I listen to this theme so much, I can hum each part, and I'm half-tempted to try making an acapella cover of this in the future if i ever get recording software. Emdasche, thanks. This theme is easily my favorite Pokemon theme, ever.
I'm thankful I downloaded Pokemon Uranium when I did. Now that it's down, more and more people can't play it anymore, and it really sucks. But take in mind the new organization introduced in Sun and Moon....GANGSTAS. I don't see any problem with this fan-game , and it has actually a pretty decent story , so it would be nice if Nintendo collaborated with them...maybe for Pokémon Z?
Tuga Nintendo has put a copyright strike on this game, forcing the devs to remove all of their official download links. I don't think that's a friendly invite to collaborate.
I'm gonna sound really goofy for being so late to the party, but a month ago I downloaded Pokemon Uranium, and just last night I got to the Epsilon nuclear plant. The build-up of allusion to the Nuclear Pokemon coupled with the fact that the game lets you freely run into the grass to see a Nuclear Pokemon without being forced into a scripted event really made it special, and this theme really brought it all together.
I was surprised the first time I heard this track I wasn't ready to face the strength of new, probably x2 strengthened Pokemon. My Palij, Raptorch, Tancoon, and Terlard pulled through though. I came back to this song after awhile cause i knew it was a banger, and totally forgot about the Bass Drop.. Hit hard and i immediately started to bang to it as soon as i realized
This sounds both badass and tragic at the same time. It's so fitting because of how radioactivity made these pokemon stronger but also messed with their head in some way.
I MUST give praise where it's due. It makes it feel like you're ACTUALLY in a radioactive apocalypse. Nice work❤🎉 (On an unrelated note this would make a great Friday Night Funkin' song lol)
It's been so long since I've played a Pokemon rom hack, but this one looks amazing; truly captures the essence of the main games. I'm downloading it now!
I only have recently discovered you but holy crap your works are amazing. You're truly an inspiration for my own works, and I hope to come close to your talent some day. What program do you use to compose, by the way? FL?
+Shadow Man i used to use FL! but i own a mac now, so i use logic pro instead. both are great though! :) u can do it man i believe in u practice makes better
+ElectricMudkip Okay, that's it, I'm switching to Logic. Is there any way to get the BW soundfont onto it? I've tried with GarageBand but with no luck.
Shadow Man yeah, logic/garageband are weird in that they don't natively support soundfonts. i use the free plugin sforzando by plogue (i think they're called) to load soundfonts in. also, you reaaaally don't need logic to do what i do, or fl studio for that matter. or, well, you need one or the other, or a different program with the same abilities, but really they all do the same thing. what matters is how you use said programs.
+ElectricMudkip thanks so much, I'll look into those soundfonts. And honestly I've been meaning to look for stuff other than GarageBand, because just from what I've heard from the stuff I have posted to the stuff you have posted GarageBand is so freaking limited with sounds and it's super buggy and the sort. A lot of people I've met said that with a Mac, LogicPro is the way to go, and I've been debating if I should buy it or not. A big problem with me is that I have the talent but not the tools. And one last thing... Is it possible to export midis from LogicPro?
Shadow Man yup! you can do that. well in the end it's up to you what you should do, but yeah, logic pro is definitely a safe bet if you want an upgrade, especially seeing as you're on a mac. best of luck man
Those horde battles later on were horrifying. Dealing with two glass cannons at once is true terror.
Hit em fast and hard, you won't need to compensate for the typing as long as your Pokemon can hit hard enough and faster then the Nuclear Mon.
My answer: have an Archilles with Earthquake and have your partner be immune to ground type moves
My answer: Overlevel your Electrux and keep aqua jet. Then, have a high speed second mon and watch the hordes melt before they get a single turn
My answer: a personal favourite strategy of mine that i like to call the Battle Bros where Gararewl uses protect and Pajay uses lava plume
its not viable as far as im aware but damn if it isnt fun to do

I associate it with the hundreds of Tancoons that I had to shuffle through.
Golden Vipertooth Me too though it was a temporary team member at most if not an HM mule.
I love pokemon uranium and love your music :) keep it up!
I came back to this song after awhile cause i knew it was a banger, and totally forgot about the Bass Drop..
Hit hard and i immediately started to bang to it as soon as i realized
Oh no...I see a Mega Nuclear Baariette! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
You did it? gosh, I luv it.
This tune is beautiful, can't wait to hear it in the game
This sounds both badass and tragic at the same time. It's so fitting because of how radioactivity made these pokemon stronger but also messed with their head in some way.
It sounds like the Wild battle theme mutated. It’s a complement.
Fitting, since radiation can cause genetic mutations.
Honestly, one of the best things about the game is your themes!
I'm in tears listening to this music, how i missed this game so much.
ikr Pokemon bw2 has the best soundfont
this is awesome, such an interesting concept. I absolutely love the theme too, inspiring stuff
+Hnturs12 thanks man! :) i agree nuclear pokemon are pretty neat haha
Listened to it so much I lost count. Seriously, great job!
I have to say, I absolutely LOVE this battle theme :D
I MUST give praise where it's due. It makes it feel like you're ACTUALLY in a radioactive apocalypse. Nice work❤🎉 (On an unrelated note this would make a great Friday Night Funkin' song lol)
ah yes what I hear when my parents fight
Electric Mudkip Great job on all your remixes I love your channel
I can see why Nintendo got jealous this game has amazing music and Pokemon
The Geiger counter clicks at the start are a nice touch. ;)
It's been so long since I've played a Pokemon rom hack, but this one looks amazing; truly captures the essence of the main games. I'm downloading it now!
This theme WILL drive you made if you shiny hunt for a nuclear pokemon.
This song is super pleasant to listen to.
Shadow Man yup! you can do that. well in the end it's up to you what you should do, but yeah, logic pro is definitely a safe bet if you want an upgrade, especially seeing as you're on a mac. best of luck man
Love this theme. My Let's Play on this game has been nothing but awesome.
Yesss awesome
at first look u think "zygarde?"
HA funny
So epic! I Love your temixed
Wow. Great music! Keep up the great work!!! :D
