- Nnamdi Kanu conundrum continues to defy legal and political solutions, and more personalities and groups in Nigeria are weighing in to find a way out of the logjam.
As part of these, about 50 members of the House of Representatives spread across the six geo-political zones of the country have appealed to President Bola Tinubu to use his constitutional powers to release the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

But an igbo man, Nnamdi Kanu is still being held in DSS dungeon after being illegally renditioned from Kenya. It’s laughable that they require Nnamdi Kanu to negotiate with federal government but Sowore and Igbowo were just set free without being asked to negotiate with the government. And he did not jump bail, he narrowly escaped death in the hands of Nigerian soldiers who invaded his ancestral home, killed scores of people, including his parents.
