My biggest disappointment with the Hasbro Disney Princesses dolls is the fact that Hasbro puts little care with creating quality of the dolls. The printed on fabric personally annoys me the most
I wouldn't call them weird. They were essentially Disney Princess barbies, which at the time almost all Mattel dolls had the bend and snap legs. The dolls were pretty nice though. Fully rooted hair and decent quality clothes for play line dolls. Closest thing in quality to the older Disney dolls now is the Disney Store's Classic Doll line.
As pretty as the collector Disney exclusive dolls are, they way too expensive and I am just as happy seeing doll review/collected channels go over them. Also I am nowhere near a Disney store to even try to get one. As for the struggle to stop buying dolls, it’s very real especially with Rainbow High.
The beginning of this video is the most relatable doll collector experience. Im up to 20 Monster High dolls and was finally able to stop myself but then turned around and spend a bunch on My Life As dolls and Our Generation clothes and accessories... and I had to get lol omg dolls too...
It's hard to do a Cinderella anniversary play doll for that price point, given that she is rooted and the jewelry looks nice. +1 for semi articulation. I just wish they could have at least gem stoned the bust instead of the screen print gems.
Ya know.... i wish they made more nice dolls like this with Esmeralda, Jane, Megara and Kida (from atlantis) i really like their characters and i think they deserve a bit more recognition imo. Those dolls aren’t bad but you’re right about the eyelashes lol
I know that you don't want to go down the limited/collector edition Disney dolls but there is a collector princess Tiana doll for the 10th anniversary and it is her in the blue gown, which you don't see her in to much, she/the doll is around $80 and change it used to be around $129 but it went down. It does have good quality with rooted eyelashes and in the description it says fully posable, idk just wanted to let you cause you like Tiana and in my opinion I think she is really pretty..
Tiana and Cinderella are my favorites. Honestly I love them both because they are similar in character. They both have a strong will, hope for something better and worked hard most of their lives. The dresses are just gorgeous too.
I bought all the style series dolls that were available when the second stimulus hit. I assumed their legs would be articulated like the arms, and I was really disappointed when they weren't. I also thought Jasmine had on fabric tights, I was livid when I saw the painted plastic legs. Tiana wasn't available when I bought the other dolls, but she's calling out to me now...

Aurora is my favorite princess, but this doll did not do her justice. Tiana is my second favorite, so I guess they I will cut them a little slack. Tiana really looked great.

The Rainbow High Cheer line is the dolls that i've been telling myself i cant get hehe, i have all the signature dolls including the playsets for amaya and avery, and Kia, but i just can't get the cheer ones aagh
The regular ones are $50 in Australia and Cinderella is $80 in Australia. I got Aurora (still in box). My daughter has Belle. I do have the 2nd Ariel and short pink dress Rapunzel on layby

This got me really wanting high quality Disney dolls. the Midnight Masquerade dolls Disney made are the closest I can find to what I want but they’re soooo expensive. Yzma and Esmeralda from that series are definitely going on my wishlist though.

I looove Aurora, and I got this same doll. But the hair really bothered me. So I’m re rooting her with nicer hair and doing a face up. I also put the head on a made to move body. So it’ll look a lot better. With Jasmine, I took the dress off and used it on rainbow high. Their dresses fit RH dolls. I gave her a made to move body and changed her clothes.
If MGA can make better than this at a 27$ sell point, so can Hasbro and Mattel, MGA has proven that it can be done, and honestly at some point we have to hold these companies accountable because they're ripping us off.

I have fallen so hard in love with this channel. Now every time I got to our local target I have to look at the dolls. I haven't ventured down that Isle since I was a kiddo. Dolls these days are so amazing they got my wallet quivering. Lol
I only buy expensive dolls if there are no other ways to obtain them because I sew outfits and customize dolls. Some examples: I won't waste money on an expensive Cinderella doll when I can buy a cheaper version of Cinderella, sew her an outfit, and repaint her face if I want. However, the Megara Masquerade doll, which I'm saving to buy, I believe is worth the money because her doll character is rare and I'm very picky with Megara's features being immaculate. She would take me much more time to create from scratch without a decent platform of a doll character to work with and even the old dolls that exist of her are expensive and not the best quality. Another example of when I would go out of my way to buy expensive dolls would be Cedar Wood Marionette comic con doll. Her posable and movable parts are created in a particular way from other dolls. Basically, no, I don't go out of my way to just purchase expensive dolls willy nilly, but if I like the doll enough and I don't see any other way of obtaining her/him, I may decide to purchase if I think the doll is worth the money.

Finally these dolls are out :D I also have Ariel, since she is my favorite Disney princess, and I think I'm going to buy Tiana. I agree with you for Jasmine, and I also noticed that she has the same problem in the legs as the Barbie fashionistas and extra (half leg is lucid and half is opaque). Tiana is very beautiful, the dress is a modern representation of her wedding dress :D As for the limited edition dolls, I agree with you. I collected some of them, and I know about people who went to a Disney Store to but them very early in the morning (I never did that, since in my city there's no Disney Store, and anyway in Italy they send them only in some stores, like Milan, Rome, etc, and in small quantities. I only bought them online, and you must be quick, since some of them are very popular and they go sold out in minutes). I haven't bought any lately, since they dropped in quality, but not in price. I wanted to buy at least one of the "masquerade" ones (Hades), but when I've heard that the others were sold very quickly because some people used bots to buy them (and resell them at a hefty price) I gave up. My only hope is that the Disney Store is going to create a playline with some of the villains, like they did with Meg, Esmeralda, Alice, Tinkerbell and Wendy. I mostly hope for Hades and Yzma.
I like Cinderella and Tiana. I would be interested in what the other princesses look like. Ariel or Merida. I have not yet found this version in Germany.
Just got Cinderella yesterday, I wouldn't say she is expensive because every doll in my country is 50$ anyway. There was only one available and I loved the packaging. I'd love to get Ariel but we don't have any other doll from the Style Series 😔
I know this feeling because I was like that all 2019 with the beautiful Mulan doll of this line and when I finally decide to buy her... she wasn't available anymore in toys shops! Luckely I found her back the last summer. But I understand this inner voice who say "And if I also buy the others... NO! YOU DON'T NEED THEM!!!" XD I have only made an exception for Cinderella because she's my favorite Disney Princess since forever.
I bought the Aurora doll just for her dress xD And I absolutely hated the fact that Jasmine had the painted on leggings. I haven't seen the Tiana doll in person, but she's the best one out of them all.

@@Theravingranter Unfortunately, a lot of people don't know her due to lack of promotion and marketing. Disney hates their Television Animation. And there are handfuls of people who do not believe she counts due to her having "just a TV show" and feeling like she does not properly represent their culture -- which is more than valid.

I love Tiana!!! She is the best from the dolls you reviewed. Hasbro could’ve done so much more with this line because they started off great, with Ariel, Belle and Mulan. The Rapunzel dolls from the style series are lovely as well. I collect the Disney Store collector dolls and your absolutely right, I get in line, around 7am🤣🤣 and I go to the D23 expos and spend the night in line, on the cold basement floor, in the Anaheim convention center 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, I’m crazy but I love the experience and meeting other doll enthusiasts. I miss it and unfortunately the 2021 convention has been postponed to 2022 but who knows what it’s going to be like. I don’t know if they’ll allow so many people, like before.

I think it's funny when RUclips people say oh it's only $25 for the doll. I remember when $25 got you a whole lot. And it wasn't for a playline doll it was for a higher-end Barbie. I know that makes me seem incredibly old lol but it wasn't that long ago
I think I might only get aurora and tiana lol they’re my favs and I love how aurora looks. The purse is designed like her crown from the movie, the curl in the front is like her original movie design as well. Of course the tiana doll is amazing and her dress is so heavily influenced by the movie
*stares at the 7 bts dolls she now has in her closet, along with the separate jimin and suga doll that she got (jimin for christmas that started the whole thing)* yeaaaa kept talking myself out of it.....i'm peeved that both my jimin's came in broken boxes.....and plan to get the other 5 to open so that i have a set i can dress up and a set to keep in boxes.
and what i mean by dressing up is making some of their more iconic stage outfits or mv outfits. yes, i made jimin his dragon onesie already because it was an iconic look on him.
Unfortunately they actually didn’t make a Snow White in this line. She’s often left out :( they did make an Ariel doll in two different outfits. One of them the outfit is inspired by the pink ball gown she wears. It’s a pant suit and it’s fantastic
I got into doll collecting back in 2019, my first official doll, as an adult, is the Disney classic Aurora doll; she's my favorite princess. Then when I found out they were releasing a limited edition Briar Rose doll I had to get her. She's been the first and only limited edition doll I got in person.
I'm more into collecting the 12" dolls that are limited release! Like from the Disney shorts and the first release from the dolls that come out with a new film! I do have some older 17" LE dolls from the Disneystore but back then they were 70 euros and that's okay in my opinion (I'm from Europe) defenitely since most Hasbro dolls are pretty expensive here. The Cinderella doll you showed here costs like 35-45 euros and that's about 41-52 dollars !
My daughter loves these I do love the eyelashes but agreed not my favorite eyelashes Cinderella should be like $19.99 imo and the others like $14.99 considering the dresses aren’t like woohoo 😂🤦🏻♀️🤗 I did get the hasbro Disney comics comfy squad recently cause it was $23.99 on Amazon and more affordable than trying to collect all the dolls especially since I’m not a big fan of the hasbro ones I like the rock candy figures more. We are team Tiana too and we love Mulan. Yes when I unboxed Barbie extra doll 3 & 4 I was huh not wowed it happens.
Tbh by looking at the tights/boots I kept thinking maybe they intended to make Esmarelda- but changed to Jasmine and by that time it was to late to change it?- The tights and boots look more Esmarelda then Jasmine, Esmareldas colour palette fits it more! But for some reason- jasmine was picked over her-
I don't even try to tell myself not to buy certain dolls because that will make me want them more. As for style series, I really would only spend money on the ones I want, and even then I'd rather ask for them for a gift, or buy them on sale because in my opinion, the prices are way too steep for what the product has to offer, considering I could buy a hairdorables hairmazing and get much more for the same price.
I like this dolls i think these and and equestria girls (rainbow rocks and friendship games are the best cuality that we can get from hasbro. They do really pretty thing but they dont put money into it. So im happy with them and with equestria girls.

For a collector, no. Kids, yes. Doll customizers, a big yes! Affordable, articulated and $20? Imagine what doll customizers can do with these!

I have Rapunzel, Mulan, and Belle. I personally was not impressed with the Aurora doll so I decided to make my own adaptation of the doll

my issue with disney princess dolls is their face paint/sculpt. they have this goofy grins that makes them too cartoonish and weird looking lol

My favourite princess is Sleeping Beauty but the Tiana doll looks soo much better than the other ones. A didn't recognize Jasmine and Aurora.
The color story on Aurora and Jasmine are off. But i love the fabric pattern for Aurora's dress. Also Tiana is adorible

I like Cinderella and Tiana. I would be interested in what the other princesses look like. Ariel or Merida. I have not yet found this version in Germany.
Just got Cinderella yesterday, I wouldn't say she is expensive because every doll in my country is 50$ anyway. There was only one available and I loved the packaging. I'd love to get Ariel but we don't have any other doll from the Style Series 😔
I know this feeling because I was like that all 2019 with the beautiful Mulan doll of this line and when I finally decide to buy her... she wasn't available anymore in toys shops! Luckely I found her back the last summer. But I understand this inner voice who say "And if I also buy the others... NO! YOU DON'T NEED THEM!!!" XD
I have only made an exception for Cinderella because she's my favorite Disney Princess since forever.
I love Aurora, she's my favorite princess, but OOF that doll...
I bought the Aurora doll just for her dress xD And I absolutely hated the fact that Jasmine had the painted on leggings. I haven't seen the Tiana doll in person, but she's the best one out of them all.
Cinderella looks like she doesn't have a neck in that dress. It swllows her up.
If you colored Jasmines dress red it would be almost identical to Princess Elenas.

Princess Elena is our hispanic disney princess and her dress looks like that
@@Theravingranter Unfortunately, a lot of people don't know her due to lack of promotion and marketing. Disney hates their Television Animation. And there are handfuls of people who do not believe she counts due to her having "just a TV show" and feeling like she does not properly represent their culture -- which is more than valid.
@@DropsOfIndigo You can meet her at the Disney parks though. Her line was 50 minutes last time I went so a lot of people like her and hey fun fact they hire bilingual people to play her so she can speak full spanish to you. Mi amo!

I love Tiana!!! She is the best from the dolls you reviewed. Hasbro could’ve done so much more with this line because they started off great, with Ariel, Belle and Mulan. The Rapunzel dolls from the style series are lovely as well. I collect the Disney Store collector dolls and your absolutely right, I get in line, around 7am🤣🤣 and I go to the D23 expos and spend the night in line, on the cold basement floor, in the Anaheim convention center 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, I’m crazy but I love the experience and meeting other doll enthusiasts. I miss it and unfortunately the 2021 convention has been postponed to 2022 but who knows what it’s going to be like. I don’t know if they’ll allow so many people, like before.

I think the dolls themselves are really pretty, but they just lose me on the fashions. The blue steaks on Cinderella are enchanting though.... ✨✨
I think it's funny when RUclips people say oh it's only $25 for the doll. I remember when $25 got you a whole lot. And it wasn't for a playline doll it was for a higher-end Barbie. I know that makes me seem incredibly old lol but it wasn't that long ago

I think I might only get aurora and tiana lol they’re my favs and I love how aurora looks. The purse is designed like her crown from the movie, the curl in the front is like her original movie design as well. Of course the tiana doll is amazing and her dress is so heavily influenced by the movie
*stares at the 7 bts dolls she now has in her closet, along with the separate jimin and suga doll that she got (jimin for christmas that started the whole thing)* yeaaaa kept talking myself out of it.....i'm peeved that both my jimin's came in broken boxes.....and plan to get the other 5 to open so that i have a set i can dress up and a set to keep in boxes.
and what i mean by dressing up is making some of their more iconic stage outfits or mv outfits. yes, i made jimin his dragon onesie already because it was an iconic look on him.
Unfortunately they actually didn’t make a Snow White in this line. She’s often left out :( they did make an Ariel doll in two different outfits. One of them the outfit is inspired by the pink ball gown she wears. It’s a pant suit and it’s fantastic

I got into doll collecting back in 2019, my first official doll, as an adult, is the Disney classic Aurora doll; she's my favorite princess. Then when I found out they were releasing a limited edition Briar Rose doll I had to get her. She's been the first and only limited edition doll I got in person.

I'm more into collecting the 12" dolls that are limited release! Like from the Disney shorts and the first release from the dolls that come out with a new film! I do have some older 17" LE dolls from the Disneystore but back then they were 70 euros and that's okay in my opinion (I'm from Europe) defenitely since most Hasbro dolls are pretty expensive here. The Cinderella doll you showed here costs like 35-45 euros and that's about 41-52 dollars !

My daughter loves these I do love the eyelashes but agreed not my favorite eyelashes Cinderella should be like $19.99 imo and the others like $14.99 considering the dresses aren’t like woohoo 😂🤦🏻♀️🤗 I did get the hasbro Disney comics comfy squad recently cause it was $23.99 on Amazon and more affordable than trying to collect all the dolls especially since I’m not a big fan of the hasbro ones I like the rock candy figures more. We are team Tiana too and we love Mulan. Yes when I unboxed Barbie extra doll 3 & 4 I was huh not wowed it happens.

Tbh by looking at the tights/boots I kept thinking maybe they intended to make Esmarelda- but changed to Jasmine and by that time it was to late to change it?-
The tights and boots look more Esmarelda then Jasmine, Esmareldas colour palette fits it more! But for some reason- jasmine was picked over her-
I don't even try to tell myself not to buy certain dolls because that will make me want them more. As for style series, I really would only spend money on the ones I want, and even then I'd rather ask for them for a gift, or buy them on sale because in my opinion, the prices are way too steep for what the product has to offer, considering I could buy a hairdorables hairmazing and get much more for the same price.
I actually love these Hasbro dolls...I've got them all. They have very pretty clothes.
I like this dolls i think these and and equestria girls (rainbow rocks and friendship games are the best cuality that we can get from hasbro. They do really pretty thing but they dont put money into it. So im happy with them and with equestria girls.
