This is the music kids must hear not dubstep Not pop these are the beautiful songs that brings out your soul and lets your emotions out. This is amazing thanks for sharing
I picture more of a river with it's runs and riffles, but there are also nice smooth pools here and there. I picture myself as a trout when I hear this piece, but it's a matter of personal imagination and preference. I can also easily picture myself as a bird, but trout fits better with my mind set (third trumpet, environmentalist, fly fisherman, Hazo-lover)
When you guys say march I only imagine marching in a parade...then I realize that corp style bands usually focus on field shows and not parades. We march on the field also but we are more of a crowd pleasing band.
This song makes me think of a person ( lets say his names bill) Bill went through a awesome life with the sad parts and the fun parts, with his adventures, achievements and so on
No one actually cares about the "Grade," whatever that is. All they care about is that it's an amazing and beautiful piece that easily spikes one's imagination. Hazo and Tchaikovsky are very close rivals in my mind, but as I said below, it's a matter of personal preference and opinion.
@MrJacobtc thats not nessesarily true, my little brother's band has played many pieces from him that are under grade 4 (im not trying to be rude of anything, just saying)
thumbs up if you think Mr. Hazo is amazing at composing (freeking AWSOME, and one of the greatest composers)

At any point in this song, I kid you not, you can imagine yourself soaring under the sun and the music will perfectly match your imagination.
I have never heard of this piece until now, and I have to say... my ears are thoroughly pleased.
We marched this in marching band. It was awesome!

And I was, from that point on, never ever disappointed.
