I will show you how to do hand sewing, fabric appliqué, and needle turn appliqué using mostly scrap fabric. My videos have no chatting in them only the occasional subtitle when I feel the need to provide a little more information. I hope you’ll be able to learn something simply by watching me stitch without words.

I had been wondering if you ever used glue for basting .. now I know! I like your landscape and sheep. Watching how you accomplish the variety of pictures you make is a real joy to me. Just fascinating! I try to figure out what you are going to do before you do it - - sometimes, I am even correct ... most of the time, I am taught something new: the eyes on the sheep were just GENIUS!
That’s a fun game to play. 😊 I rarely use glue. I tried it a few times but it doesn’t work well if your fabric has texture. I usually just baste with thread.
@@cookingjennfer Ahhh .... I was wondering if you were going to find that it stiffened the fabric and made the needles difficult to work through. But, I take it that because of the texture, the glue was not as sufficient as basting would be. Good to know! Thank you.
@@maryseaman312exactly. 😊 It wasn’t hard to stitch through at all. It would be okay for smooth fabric, maybe I just didn’t use enough.
@@cookingjennfer you enjoy the process of the slow stitching ... why complicate it with something that is either inefficient or messy?
❤🌹🌟
😊
So adorable! Your sheep are really creative. What did you use for the sheep’s body? Looks super fluffy. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Some kind of short faux fur I think. I only have small scraps. No idea where I got it in the first place. You can use felt. 😊
So cute! I just made two pinkeeps with sheep on them. This is definitely going on my to do list.
Gotta say I love the colors on your nails! Is it polish or acrylics?
Thanks! It’s a gel nail kit that I got from Amazon. The brand is Candy Lover. They have lots with different colour combinations. I think in this video it’s just black with a coat of glitter.
Love your videos. Did lyou cut out the sheep shapes by hand?
Thanks! Yes I did. Somewhere in the video I show the shape of the body and head.
I love these….did you use beads for the eyes? Do you have a download for the sheep body? I can’t even draw stick figures! Lol
😆 Try cutting an oval with a neck. Practice on paper first. And the face is a tear drop with a rounded point. You can do it!
