If I see it correctly, this diamond head is not rotating but stationary. So the surface is not rolled but pressed. I can't think of a suitable term for it - "ironed" - pressed - . . .
I could imagine that the surface compaction is not as strong / deep as if you roll it with rollers or balls. But maybe it's just about the surface finish. Something that shines beautifully can be sold for more ;-)
I can only find the price online on request, which usually means
Aber wenn es funktioniert und man ist bereit den Preis dafür zu bezahlen . . . that it costs a fortune.

Dieter - The piece is rotating - the Ball is rotating against the rotating piece .The ball uses
spring pressure to push it against the rotating piece . If the face of the rotating piece is
wavy - the Ball Burnishing will be wavy . The Tangent Burnishing Tool with move in a
      straight line . I prefer a straight line . $50.00 USD is a great deal -- Jim

@@TangentJim Jim! It looks so small, viewed a few websites, doesnot look like its rotating, must have the size of a ball point pen.
And yep - clear - if the face is wavy, the burnishing is wavy.
