Hell, Tate is a legendary vocalist and was untouchable back in the day.. Anyway, I think it is fair to say the music Todd makes and what I do arn't even on the same platform, plus there is the fact that I don't give a crap what you think about my own music...

Long Time Fan from Tampa in fact I took lessons with Midnight at Al Kohens place thats where I got to meet him always had set my voice to his standards as he was incredible, I do not sing that style anymore as my band is more of whats going on now but he was absolutely incredible as the entire band and your replacement is amazing and a fantastic choice I am so glad your guys are back keep rockin as you do and only as you do!!!

Holy cow what is going on with US power metal lately? Crimson are back with a vengeance (Jon u found a true diamond), Watchtower and Sanctuary are also back plus Nevermore (already out) and Panzer are releasing new stuff this year. Lets not forget new bands like Dark Arena and Futures End. I hope this leads to a true revival of the genre
So if my ears are correct...this is the original instrumental tracks from "Transcendence" with the new singer replacing Midnight's vox? Weird; never seen a band do that before. I'm sold on his ability. I dug "Astronomica" but always thought Wade Black was too shrill to really nail Midnight, especially since he seemed to have a big break between his high and low voices. Would love to see some true new live tracks with the whole band, though; wanna know if Drenning and Jackson still got it, too ;)

You can still hear the harmonies from Midnight on the chorus. I still prefer Midnight by a long way...
