Hey! I am a beginner too but this can be understandable when you can read the pattern, so it's good to look that up (there's many manuals online). If you're struggling with the magic circle, there's many videos on how to do that, there's also vids on how to increase. What helps is marking your first stitch of the round and counting your stitches. How i did this was basically frankensteining many tutorials together to understand this one. Good luck!

You could double all the numbers but that usally doesn’t work I recommend increasing your yarn and hook size

I think when it says beginner, it means you understand the basic stitches and their abbreviations. I’m a beginner and as of step 3, it’s been easy.
