I agree that hogs cause damage to wetlands but I think more needs to be done to control the filling of wetlands to create more residential and industrial lands. Once they are filled in it's difficult.to.get it back. Looks like a blast though.

Seems like the airboat does a lot of damage to those saplings when mowed over. Possibly more damage than the hogs do. 🤷♂️ but fun I bet!
The way I explain it you have to consider the hogs being out there 24/7 365 and the boat being out there a couple hours for about 20 days a year. Hogs uproot the boat runs over. You decide

Generally, the plants re-seed themselves if the elevation is right. Problem is, the rooting compresses the mucky soil and lowers the elevation, so sometimes you need to plant grasses in soil bags, just to give the plants some inches of elevation. Look up Restore the Earth out of New York, they have done good work in Louisiana
