    I am healing from a concussion. This is my fourth day with 40hz isochronic. As the physical pain has subsided I notice a "itchy/pressure" for want of better words, in my right temporal lobe area. I feel as though i am having trouble accessing words though i remember their meaning... The temporal lobes are responsible for interpreting sounds and accessing language et al... I read that gamma wave sounds can help increase temporal function. Also help with the cleaning process in the brain. I also read that the brain cannot heal completely but can reroute functions. I am skeptical but hopeful and I am using this in conjunction with other therapies including fasting, meditating, walking/stretching/balance and intellectual games. I appreciate your contribution to my journey, thanks.
    There is a lot of new research about the role of the lymphatic system in cleaning the brain. I have read the cerebral spinal fluid does the cleansing and I have read about something called the glymphatic system. But the bottom line for me is that the cleansing seems to happen during deep sleep primarily. I understand that certain brain wave activity is dominant at different sleep cycles and there is a relationship between the cleansing activity and the brain wave activity. I would like to use gamma wave sound during sleep also to see if that helps me. I need to figure out what wave forms dominate during cleansing cycles?
    I also want to mention I like the name of your channel and am myself convinced that all life that shares the same genetic material is in fact one creature. Intelligent, intent upon self preservation, with goals and purpose driven actions. It seems obviously to be true. And unlike religion the Gaia Hypothesis has no need or reason to hide from scientific scrutiny.

      Hello, first of all thank you for sharing your story with us. We wish you a great recovery. To answer your question about sleeping cycles, we observe more delta waves while sleeping. Delta brain state is associated to deep sleep. We're not sure whether gamma waves would be the best for you in that case while falling asleep, as it may synchronize your brain to a more "awaken" state. However that's a good thing that you listen to it during the day.
      Than you once again for your interest in our channel. We wish you the best in your recovery. Have a wonderful day 🙏

      My personal experience has been that theta-wave binaural-beats (not isochronic tones) with headphones winds me down to a restful state, putting me to sleep quickly and deeply. Headphones are critical for the binaural affect. I've tried falling asleep to delta binaural beats, but the frequency is too low for my overactive brain to become "entrained" by it.

I had to start OMing as a release to stop from crying.. at first .. uncontrollable laughter.. Flute like sounds coming in.. wasn't event trying to meditate or OBE just wanted to feel right. Tuning to the right frequency allows use to function as we should and connect to the love of source. ... I dozed off and woke in sleep paralysis but it sounded like I rock band in my room. that was was sooo funky sounding lol it was the Best experience I've had in month's. If we listen binaural beats at 144p
    It does not work because it is compressed
    So this is also same in Isochronic tones
    It is necessary that We have to listen it in or above 720p

    I wonder if this style is better than a pure pulsing sine wave. At least it will work better on systems that don't have a decent subwoofer (since a 40 Hz sine wave is hard to reproduce on small speakers and cheaper systems). Any thoughts on this? Sine waves vs. other pulse shapes (triangle, square, shorter pulses with space in between…)

    • @stephenplante2273
      @stephenplante2273 Год назад

      It's not 40 hz it's just 40 hz difference between two tones, one being 396 hz, I believe.

    • @BobYourell
      @BobYourell Год назад +1

      @@stephenplante2273 Like you're saying, yes, the 40 Hz is the interference pattern resulting from the two tones. But it's interesting that, instead of doing a binaural beat with one tone in each ear, they combined them so the pulse occurs in mono, not just stereo when using headphones. An alternative would be to use an actual 40 Hz tone. Years ago, I came across some research that pulses worked a little better for entrainment than binaural, but I'm not up to date on the latest.

      Above 35 hz is Gamma & Not all beta brain waves are bad.Optimal level of beta brain waves are necessary for daily life.40 hz is the exact frequency used by scientists in lab that has shown to improve dementia and plaque build up in the brains of rats

      I'd avoid 50. It's had a negative effect on me and everyone I know who has tried it. Made my friend sick, drove my anxiety through the roof. 40 is said to be the brain's operating system frequency. Stick with 40 for concentration, then alpha waves to relax, theta waves to drift off / increase casual learning, low theta to go to sleep.

    What type of imbalances will happen if you listen to longer than 60 min as suggested? I am a student and have to study for like 5-7hrs a day reading and re-reading things so wanted to know what type of imbalances would occur? It really helps with focused reading

    • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  5 лет назад +3

      Hi Kristen, it is not advised to listen to more than 60 minutes straight during the day. Your brain needs to get used to it first, and then your brain can't be in the Gamma state all day long because when it'll be time to relax or to sleep, it'll be quite difficult for you to do so. Your brainwaves naturally change according to the activity you're doing, and it can't be stuck to one specific brain state. You have to take care of your overall well-being. Hope this helps :)

    • @GaiaMeditation

      Actually, the more you listen to them, the more your brain changes (brain plasticity). You need to create new habits by listening to them every day (but not more than 60 minutes per day to keep some balance). You can see results after a few days but I'd say that 21 days is standard.

    • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  6 лет назад +1

      40 hz and 70 hz are both in the Gamma brainwaves range. The effects they produce is quite similar even if there are subtle differences. 40H iz associated with high-level information processing and if you increase in frequency, this ability will definitely increase... So I'd suggest you try it to see if you feel any difference and if you experience similar or different results.

If you feel that it doesn't have any more effect on you, then you can stop, but if you feel it's still helping you, then you may continue. Should i listen to it at the highest volume? Or it doesn’t really matter

    • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  6 лет назад

      You don't need to listen to it at a high volume. With isochronic tones, your brain creates the same brainwave frequency as the tone played. That frequency created corresponds to a specific brain state associated with specific mental states. So it'll work even with a low volume. • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  6 лет назад +3

      Actually, the more you listen to them, the more your brain changes (brain plasticity). You need to create new habits by listening to them every day (but not more than 60 minutes per day to keep some balance). You can see results after a few days but I'd say that 21 days is standard.

    • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  5 лет назад +4

      @@williamhellstrom5075 Because the audio track contains isochronic tones (brainwave entrainment technology) which alters the electrical activity in your brain. So the audio track should be used as an help to train your brain, and it should be done little by little. Hope it answers your question :)

    Hello, I was reading through the comments section of this video and noticed that it is recommended that listening to these waves should be limited to about an hour a day. What do I risk by exceeding that limit, and what do I have to gain. I would just like to know the pros and cons of doing so, thanks! 😀

    • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  5 лет назад +3

      Hello, thank you for your message. You brain will change its brainwaves according to different situations and different moments during the day. If you need to stay focused to work on something, you don't want your mind to be wandering (you'd prefer your brain to produce less Alpha brain waves and more Beta or Gamma waves). If you would like to sleep, you don't want your brain to be in a focused mode (you'd prefer your brain to produce less Beta or Gamma brainwaves and more Theta/Delta waves). So if you listen to binaural beats, you should use them as a "training" not as something you should listen to throughout your whole day, otherwise, it'll create unbalances in your mind. For more information, please read the following page: www.gaiameditation.com/sound-healing-research/binaural-beats-isochronic-tones-brainwave-entrainment/#localscroll-brain-states

    One question about 40 hertz and 70 hertz. If 70 hertz is labeled as Inspiration, Compassion & Altruism. My question is, so would you recommend for a student just to listen too 40 hertz gamma and when done with 40 hertz gamma then listen to 70 hertz gamma. Since gamma waves are involved with learning?

      Hi there, thank you for your message. If you would like to sleep, you shouldn't listen to Gamma isochronic tones because it'll keep you awake. In order to sleep, you should look for brainwave entrainment recordings (binaural beats or isochronic tones) inducing Delta waves. We have a few sleep music tracks on our channel, you can check them out. And for more information about brainwave entrainment as well as the different brain states and associated mental states, please check out this page: www.gaiameditation.com/sound-healing-research/binaural-beats-isochronic-tones-brainwave-entrainment/ . For more information about brainwave entrainment, please check out this page: www.gaiameditation.com/sound-healing-research/binaural-beats-isochronic-tones-brainwave-entrainment/ . • @GaiaMeditation
      @GaiaMeditation  5 лет назад +3

      Hello Ernesto,
      In fact, when we mention 40 Hz for a gamma wave audio, we’re talking about « frequency gap » of the isochronic tones. In this case, that’s what people need to know and that’s what makes it « gamma waves ».
      The note played isn’t 40 Hz though, which would be very low and difficult to listen to on many devices.
      Hope this helped.
      Have a great day.
