"Only if you were my son". Not only does Hurrem admits here that their opposition is beyond her control and not something she wishes for, but there is something VERY important in between the lines: she indirectly admits that had he actually been her son, Mustafa would likely be the *obvious * choice for her as well: he is the eldest son, he is a competent leader and a good man. This filiation issue is the *only thing that stands in the way of her support.
Mahidevran is the problem here. Was she dead, or did she understood, and left Hurrem adopt her son (I admit that it is more common in Cdramas but I guess it still works here) everything would have been different. Like, wildly different
@@Winterbelv Mahidevran is the main problem here. And maybe Valide. Would have Hurrem felt safe, that would not have to happen Oh, you're right. Her sisters in law too are at fault here
Look at the pain and regret in her face..... She truly didn't want to fight that man, and she's right.... He honestly would have stood a better chance had Hurrem been the one to birth and raise him. He honestly was a good dude, he just had a really crappy group of people raising and teaching him. Hats off to Vahide in this scene. That face is gonna be etched into my memory for a good while
His actual mother historically did a great job protecting him. It is documented how she had servants make sure nothing was poisoned. She even sent a letter telling her son if he goes to his father's tent he will die. But he didn't listen. If he did then he would've lived

I've been waiting for this scene! It was actually quite shocking to hear this. I think that this is the first time that Hürrem and Mustafa had a proper Convo. (I think? I don't quite remember.)
@@aiJhopeArMy Yes! I also saw that. Especially when Hürrem let Mustafa poke her cheeks and she smiled, then she held Mustafa's hands and escorted him down the hallway. But of course, Mahidevran sees and got mad at her. There were a few interactions of Mustafa and Hürrem that proved that they would've got along well if Mahidevran wouldn't mind it.
I wish Hurrem had more faith in Mustafa when he said he wouldn't harm his brothers. With all that has been done, Mustafa will always be the best choice for the throne. I know what the customs were, but I strongly believe Mustafa would somehow find the way to have his brothers by his side while he rules. He didn't deserve the ending he got.
Why should she trust Mustafa? It was Fratricide law! He would kill his brothers and Mahidervan would kill her sons too if she became Valide! Didn’t she kill Mehmed already? Lmaooo
Everybody’s twisting themselves into knots trying to solve the issue of fratricide. Simple solution: every paddock can have plenty of steers, but only one bull. Find the dude who makes the palace eunuchs and you’d be set. Snip, and off you go to live a happy life in a province somewhere. You can even have a harem - your 14th century vasectomy solves your primogeniture problem…
This scene proves that the war between Hurrem and Mustafa wasn't personal. She didn't want to kill him, she wanted to kill his title to ensure that at least one of her sons stays alive. She did what any mother would do, even if she wasn't a saint. That's why she feels remorse after his death, she had nothing agnaist him as a person. I even think a part of her admired him. Instead, Mustafa didn't hate Hurrem's title, he hated the person she represented and her love for the sultan. He hated all of her and all she represented! (which is pretty understandable, after all he saw his mother in pain every day because of her)
I think she knew Mustapha the better man than Salim. What a shame Salim did not pop his clogs first. I do not see Mustafa killing the rest of his brothers if Salim died first
@@myrahnaif3163 Mustapha knew all along that Hurrem was plotting against him. So, naturally Hurrem did not earn his respect As if Mihrimah respected Mahidevran too. Hmnnn
Because why would Mahidevran want any of them to be her son when she has mustafa? lol. Hurrem is admitting here that mustafa really is the best suitable for the throne. Selim and Bayezid neither are. Wouldn’t make sense the other way around.
@@rosequinn3217 Hurrem literally begged Mustafa to save her son who lacked support of the Ottoman troops, the very place they ruled. She clearly saw Mustafa to be much more powerful and competent than her sons, and definitely wanted to befriend him for the time being.
A really good, somewhat emotional scene. Delves into the humanity of these two characters, who have been battling for around 18 years. I just wish Suleiman would hear these words, and understand what has been going on. It feels a bit convenient that this is the only time he doesn't hear his surroundings when ill in bed. I also wish Mustafa had promised to Hürrem right then and there that he would not harm his brothers, but I doubt Hürrem would believe those words
Hurrem would like to hear that from Mustafa, but trust is an earned virtue. Time teaches us who we can/ cannot trust. In this instance they were standing on level ground- eye to eye. Respect was seen but for a moment.
@@joybean5784 it takes two to tango. Hurrem already said they were on opposite sites. And therefore, Mustapha was her enemy. And yet you expect Mustapha to say he would not harm his sibling. That after Mustapha intervened to help Selim who provoked Jannisary. Was not what he did food enough. He already saved Selim. Bear in mind, Sulaiman was subconscious. Janissary already said they would support should Mustapha wanting to wrest control there and then. What I find as an irony is that those who idolise Hirrem keep painting that Mustapha would in no time execute his brothers. The actual truth was that Hurrem was the only plotting to execute Mustapha. Hurrem was actually accusing Mustapaha of doing what exactly she had been doing
While this season was meh 😑 this is one of the best scenes of this show if not the best scene of this show so much character development and charisma 👍👍👍👍👍
This season is the only season that portrays a more accurate Hurrem. This season definitely has flaws as far as portraying Hurrem because Hurrem was way more powerful than its shown in the show, but at least she was very strong in this season compared to the previous ones.
He didn't know what to say because hurrem sultan spoke truths here , he realized why hurrem sultan does all this and it's not because she's evil but because she's forced to for dynasty to survive.
Mustafa was the real heir who deserves the throne but hurrum did not think it neutrally as an empress she played the game as per the benefits of her own sons which was tragic end
I like this scene a lot. One of my favorites in the show. I don't know if this ever happened even tho I know my history well but it could have. I'll live with this conversation happening. I don't think Mustafa would kill his brothers, especially Dzihangir.. But Mahidevran would off them one by one with Hurem being the first one gone and Mustafa would be placed into a situation to either execute his mother or keep an blind eye. Such a shame. Selim after he took the throne built a Maouseleum for Mustafa in Manisa I think for his grave and supplied and aided Mahidrevran with money as she with Mustafa gone had no income nor status. He spared her and Mustafa's kids. Even his right hand men.
Selim became sultan after 13 years of mustafa death ... He didn't spare anyone... Ottoman don't kill the daughters.. so Mustafa daughters were married off and they loved like ottoman princes ... Meanwhile his sons were killed by Suleiman.
3:58 did she bow towards the sultan or mustafa.....cause it looks like mustafa, otherwise she would've faced the sultan as always....wow 😳 I think she respected mustafa deep down and always knew his value/virtues, despite the negative image she always tried to sell to everyone including herself.....of course she wished he were her son, not only would it have avoided a whole mess, but he was a prime heir and the most capable ruler (more than her sons and she knew it)...strong and fearless, yet wise and just, what a sultan he would've made....
After watching the series and then doing real research. Mustafa would have been a great sultan I believe. Selim took the throne but as his mother wanted but with him started the decay of everything his ancestors worked and died for. Which I'm sure was a huge disappointment from thise watching from heaven. His father's reign was beyond amazing and golden. So sad it was tarnished and fell apart after that. Love can be blind and cause you to overlook things.
Let's be real...there is no way Mustafa could've stopped Mahidevran from getting rid of the other princes. She would've killed them and then apologize to her son💀 And Mustafa wouldn't really punish her. Hurrem was smart...he needed to die because his mother would eventually poison him.
No , women were not strong enough to do anything like this especially to princes ... Even hurrem could never kill Mustafa by her own ..they showed this in series that she attempted to kill him various times but it's just fictional no one could do this by their own .. that was impossible, even hurrem couldn't kill Mustafa and mahidevran couldn't kill any of prince . Impossible..
Yes I was not able to watch this part it makes me cry how Hurrem wish that Mustafa is her son why he knows Mustafa from childhood only that his mother and Hurrem ones a mortal enemy at a heart of Suleiman and the Throne.
Hurrem never wished him to be her son. She said we wouldn’t have war if you were my son. The one in Suleiman’s heart for throne was Mehmed hahahahahah!
According to this serial mustafa's weakness was that he was less a ruler and more humane. If he could have been more ruthless and decisive just like his grandfather Selim 1, then he would have attempted to dislodge sulaiman and taken over the reigns of power; perhaps then sultanate of women would not have come into being and the disaster the ottoman dynasty rushed into would have been averted.
Despite this.. the sultanate of women kept the dynasty running long after other empires fell. To think negatively about this feeds into the many men who wanted otherwise throughout history and are blind to that truth.
@@mariev6108 yess but the system was better when everything was under men control... Of course the men in sultanate of women era were useless... Men would be better like their ancestors... But Suleiman broke all rules and eventually the empire was run by women who just tried to save their sons , and to rule that's it .. the purpose of empire to spread Islam ended . There was no sultanate of women in the reign of sultans before Suleiman he system if empire was so strong that time ... Men ruled and they were good enough that they didn't need women support... Many people might be think that Hurrem was regretting because Mustafa wasn't her son. Yes, it's true. But here, she regrets cause now she has to kill a good person. Over the years, hurrem get rid of everyone, who stand in her way and she didn't regret for them. But here, she finds out that Mustafa was actually a good person and now she will have to kill an innocent person. She wanted Mustafa to be a bad person, so she doesn't feel guilty.
Or maybe she regretted killing Mustafa because she became aware that the Sultan would kill her children too at the mere suspicion of treason (like Bayezid irl for example). Frankly, I'd take everything Hurrem says with a grain of salt.
She actually said once , When rustem was afraid that if mustafa rebelled .. so she replied I wish Mustafa rebel.... because that's the only way sultan will order his death .

Another reason why I prefer Hurrem over Mahidevran. Hurrem's fight with Mustafa was never personal. She liked him. She wished he was her son, so they would not stand against each other and when he was executed, she broke down, but to protect her children she had no other choice. Mahidevran? She set a trap for Mehmet for the same reason, but she smirked and felt good after she heard Mehmet died. No regret. She dared to attack Hurrem because of Mustafa....but she did not even remember she killed Hurrem's son first, because Mehmet was sultan's favorite.
Lmao, what? Hurrem tried to poison Mustafa as soon as he was an adult. When she managed to get rid of Ibrahim she said "now it's time for Mustafa" When Mustafa died she happily said "now I have no enemies"

It is so sour that none of them ever questioned the law to kill the brothers to become the only heir. Yes, the last brothers promise they won't do it, but nobody talks about changing that law. If they had changed that, there wouldn't have been a reason for Hürrem to fight Mustafa. She fought him to save her children. Not for herself, cause she repeatedly said that the death of her husband would also have been her death, without Sulayman there is no Hürrem. In fact, she'd prefered to die together with him. But she wanted her children to survive, that's why she fought. I think the only real viper is Mahidevran. She would have never wanted the law to be changed, and she would always have tried to get rid of Hürrem. Hürrem always was very loving and kind to Mustafa while he was young, not blaming him for the mistakes of his mother. It was only after his adulthood that she saw a danger in him and turned against him. As of Mahidevran, she despises everything in Hürrem, even her children. Mahidevran lives to see herself win over her enemies, she lives for revenge. It would have been best if Mahidevran had been killed, the law changed, and Mustafa taken as a part of Hürrem's family. Even Ibrahim could have changed. He was against Hürrem because he saw her as a threat to Mustafa's future sultanship. If she had supported Mustafa, their war might have ended. The only one blocking everything was in fact Mahidevran.
No ... mahidevran couldn't do anything if mustafa didn't want ... Even hurrem couldn't kill Mustafa in series they showed that she tried but it was impossible for anyone to try to harm prince .. and the worst part is not hurrem wanted Mustafa to die , but she wanted Mustafa to die because of brother killing rule but she never thought about her own sons ? If course they would follow that rule too .. and selim and beyzait hated each other .. she manipulated Suleiman in everything but not once about this law ?? Not because so she didn't need to kill Mustafa and they would live like a family but for her own sons .... Because I'm sure even if that rule was abolish she must had kill Mustafa .. because even if her son's alive but if mustafa ascend throne she would lost her status .. but she never try to change for her sons..
I mean, the point of the fratricide was to ensure succession. If all the brothers are from the same mother, the succession is guaranteed - you just lapse back to European-style primogeniture (the heir and the spare). Conversely, you could simply select the most obvious route and rather than strangle your brothers, you simply geld them so as to ensure they can’t reproduce. It isn’t like they didn’t have eunuchs…

Absolutely… But some people would rather live even dishonourably, than be strangled to death. It’s also good politics for the brother who assumes the throne - after all, Mehmed III murdered his 19 half-brothers, some of whom were children, and repulsed his citizenry because of it. Why not just snip them and send them to be Beys in the provinces? Nobody has to know but the Sultan, the doctor, the Sehzade and God.

Mustafa really loved his brothers 😢 mahidevran tried so hard to drive a wedge between him and hurrem and make him another clone of her but he eventually became his own person
Mahidevran I'd the actual reason behind this war . She is who kept provoking hurem against Mustafa since being child. But indeed hurrem never taught bad about any one to her kids
I think Mustafa is so surprised because he thought that like his mother, she wanted to become the sultan mother. This is like he was finally realizing she doesn't care which of her son's sits the throne in the end, she just wanted all her children to be safe. In truth even mihrimah would not have been spared because her children would have the chance for the throne if the bloodline was cut short. Like with Suleiman when his half brother had to swear allegiance and to remain exiled from the capital, his mother was sold off in marriage while pregnant which made her son the son of her husband over the dynasty. It's one of those loopholes. Mihrimah married a free man, not freed like hurrem or a slave like Ibrahim, that meant her children were equally members of the dynasty and could take the throne if no heir of Suleiman remained.
Hurrem definitely had a choice, she can treat mustafa as her own son.If only hurren loved Mustafa n didn't try to kill him multiple times, there would be peace both side. This is a crustial seen between them as they both relises they just caught up in a situation of survival,if the laws of killing brothers had not been there my gess is there would been quite diffrent situation regarding them
I am sure in real life it would been so hard for her as she watched him grow old. She was like a second mother despite the laws and the coldness shown between them in the series. She expressed her true feelings here as a mother or stepmother not as Sultan's Wife.
I don't know but if the story is different like mustafa doesn't have a valide maybe mahidevran died earlier when mustafa still a baby, then hurrem came in as the lovely concubine of suleiman, is she will protect &support mustafa for the throne besides her sons?
Honestly, if you think about it, she could have made him her son. Like , when she was 3 children in, Mahi was not being invited anymore altogether, Ibrahim just married to Hatice. If she managed to make a trail of love between Mahi and Ibrahim, she could have killed 2 birds with 1 stone. Grand Vazeer - out, Mahidevil - out, you can take him as your child to raise if Suleiman allows you to (which he gladly would allow since it's much needed to have a mother figure for him) and he would fall even deeper in love with her kind heart
Same is for suleman he wanted mehmet to sit on throne not mystafa reason he was not horam's son, he loved her so much, she was his pride, even after his death he wanted her to have a high status, Queen mother.
Hurrem also bowed down in front of Mustafa's generosity n kindness. She had to respect Mustafa. N what a good taunt Mustafa gave to Hurrem though Hurrem didn't set any trap for Mustafa this time. Hurrem was an intellectual lady. Don't know why she chose Evil n evil Suleyman. She was not needing anyone to save her. Hurrem admitted Mustafa's grace that how good enough he was. But the reason is as well as should always for the best but not for the hurrem. Hurrem actually wants to peace and reconcile with the Mustafa....They had no choice killed their each own family member just only to survival. It's looks ruthless, but as a mother Hurrem only wants protected of her all children.

I'd say it is understandable why Hurrem conspired against Mustafa, after all, she had her sons to think of. The tradition of fratricide was horrific and was 'common' during this time...
This shows Hurrem's machinations to install Selim were not personal, here she is indirectly admitting that Mustafa would have been a far better Sultan than her son and that she is even fond of him. The look on Mustafa's says it all, he wished that there hadn't been conflict between them. She wanted Prince Mustafa to become the next sultan because of her selfish motives. She is selfish and doesn't care about anyone else but herself. She wanted Hurrem Sultana to suffer because Sultan Suleiman did not show her much affection after Hurrem Sultana came to the palace. Mahidevran is the one who raised Mustafa in the best way..so much so that he loved all his brothers..while Hurrem was busy chasing Suleiman and forgot to raise one brave son! This series tried to show Hurrem as a heroine, but the writers of the last part did a great job as they showed the facts well, and here we see Hurrem admitting that although she had four playing cards FOUR! Mahidevran had a golden card.. just ONE... All the people here in the comments do not know the history of the empire.. and as someone who visited Turkey and is from an Islamic country.. everyone is praying for Prince Mustafa and his innocent mother who raised him well.. while everyone hates Hurrem the "witch" as everyone says lol

Cihangir was disabled but was he not powerful, smart, kind and strong and smart??? Hurrem doesn't hate her children, she just wants to protect them. She knows Mustafa isn't like his mother but fears what will happen once he take the throne.
Mehmed and Cihangir are good sons that Hürrem raised. Even Selim is not as bad as people think. He regretted killing Bayezid to the very end. Bayezid also had a good heart even though he was short tempered. If Mehmed had not died he would have been the worthiest successor to Suleiman without a shadow of any doubt. The elderly statesmen and the Ulema saw promise in him. More so than Mustafa.
Mahidevil made it all this way! See, she lived the longest as punishment to see her loved ones die one by one. She couldn't move on from her jealousy and hate toward Hurrem. In history however, the real Mahidevran had no value in the palace. She was known as just someone who gave birth to the Sultan's son... that's it. She was not like in this series.

Why should she trust Mustafa? It was Fratricide law! He would kill his brothers and Mahidervan would kill her sons too if she became Valide! Didn’t she kill Mehmed already? Lmaooo

But he would execute her. It’s not her sons she fears for, it’s herself.
Bravo to the scriptwriter!

She actually said once , When rustem was afraid that if mustafa rebelled .. so she replied I wish Mustafa rebel.... because that's the only way sultan will order his death .
I sometimes imagine how fun the rivalry would've been had Mustafa's elder brothers Mahmud and Murad survived infancy. With 2 other enemies, Hürrem would've had a harder time getting rid of them all
She would ally with mahidevran to get rid of them then she would get rid of Mustafa.

Mustafa is a person with good conscience..he would never betrayed hurrem n never kill any of his brothers.
Although this scene was very satisfying ♥️💙
Yes, but could you say the same thing for Mahideran..... She already killed their beloved brother Mehmet....
There was no choice with mahideveran around, she would have poisoned him against hurrem. She would have never allowed any of her children live, I totally understand hurrem and I also love her
@@edidiongumoh4269 I totally agree wid uh.... infact she was the prsn to poison Hurrem whn she was pregnant wid Mehmet..... so technically she tried to poison Mehmet twice..... he was lucky the 1st tym... but not so lucky the 2nd tym
@@bristibarua1851 true 🥲
@@bristibarua1851 Yes, As far as I understand..Mustafa had never listened or took any advice from Mahidevran. Although many times Mahidevran gave right advices to him..Not only Mahidevran but Mustafa never listened to his advisers (Tascili,Atmaca,Mahrunissa).
I think he would act with his conscience..
If killing Mehmet is concern.u r right Mahidevran killed him. But when the first time Mahidevran tried to kill Mehmet (in hurrem womb)..that time even hurrem admitted that she would have done the same as Mahidevran did to her.And hurrem did it many times..she killed almost every favorite women of sultan.
And Mahidevran tried to kill Mehmet once(in hurrem womb) but hurrem tried multiple times to kill Mustafa. Mahidevran accepted her defeat n left the palace with his son,but hurrem went on provoking Mustafa n Mahidevran. Mustafa was demoted from manisa bcz of hurrem's traps. Manisa was given to mehmet. Then Mahidevran left with no other choice then killing him.
Am commenting according to my sense of understanding the show...u might have ur different opinion 😊
Very well written, very well done serie!
one time Hurrem told Mahidevran the only bad luck of Mustafa is having a mother like you . cuz even Mustafa wanted to make a deal with his brothers Mahidevran will kill them as she did with Mehmet . so Hurrem has no choice but saving her sons
How true musatafs words are
If she succeeded in getting rid of him on his way back She would have never saw selim
But she is perfect in denying
Musatafa had honour and pride more than her

One of the best scenes of the whole show
This is a crustial seen between them as they both relises they just caught up in a situation of survival,if the laws of killing brothers had not been there my gess is there would been quite diffrent situation regarding them
Both if their eyes tear up when she is saying those words 3:53
I am sure in real life it would been so hard for her as she watched him grow old. She was like a second mother despite the laws and the coldness shown between them in the series. She expressed her true feelings here as a mother or stepmother not as Sultan's Wife.
The look on Mustafa -
Even if Mustafa didn't want to kill his brothers his followers and mother would have. It's just that simple.
I don't know but if the story is different like mustafa doesn't have a valide maybe mahidevran died earlier when mustafa still a baby, then hurrem came in as the lovely concubine of suleiman, is she will protect &support mustafa for the throne besides her sons?
She would.
When Mustafa was a little boy, Hurrem was fond of him.
This scene prove that Hurrem actually love Mustafa and does not want to be Mustafa's enemy, but it is all because of Mahidevran.
Same is for suleman he wanted mehmet to sit on throne not mystafa reason he was not horam's son, he loved her so much, she was his pride, even after his death he wanted her to have a high status, Queen mother.
How much is this episode ?
Hurrem also bowed down in front of Mustafa's generosity n kindness. She had to respect Mustafa. N what a good taunt Mustafa gave to Hurrem though Hurrem didn't set any trap for Mustafa this time.
Hurrem was an intellectual lady. Don't know why she chose Evil n evil Suleyman. She was not needing anyone to save her. She was all alone enough to storm suleyman's reign n challenge his fratricide law. If she would have helped Mustafa to ascend the throne... scenario would be totally different and except selim all would hv leaved happily n peacefully. But but but...
This enemity between Mustafa and hurrem was killed a skillful and a king minded prince, he deserves a throne after suleiman, he has abilities to be a great leader of the Ottoman Empire he having more abilities than other princes, that's why he deserves throne more than other princes 😢
Hurrem admitted Mustafa's grace that how good enough he was. But the reason is as well as should always for the best but not for the hurrem.
If being treacherous or slanderous to reach the reign is good enough than her own son Salim is the same. What makes the difference is to be loyal, brave and truthful and that goes only to Mustafa...
"i'll never forget what you did" proceeds to kill him.
atleast based on the show i can vouch for the fact that mustafa would've never killed his brothers infact he might've abolished the law of fraticide.
"If you were my son, then this war would not have happened..."
Hurrem actually wants to peace and reconcile with the Mustafa....They had no choice killed their each own family member just only to survival. It's looks ruthless, but as a mother Hurrem only wants protected of her all children.
She killed Mustafa because of Mahidevran actually. She never intends to kill him in the first place. Mustafa is the victim of Hurrem and Mahidevran's battle for throne.
Well mahiwitch killed Mehmet while his Mother kidnaped..its Fair game...but Hurrem 3 Sultans killed with Grandsons..mahidevran only mustafa
And who sent efsun and gulizar
Who killed little baby soliman
Are you drunk 8amo 🤣🤣🤣
@@marissakass3044 all I'm saying is... if Mustafa got the power he deserves, mahidevran would get power too... so in order to prevent it... Hurrem had no choice but to intervene Mustafa to not ascend the throne and not gain the power so that Mahidevran will not be a dominant of Hurrem... and fyi, yes Hurrem killed the ones you mentioned.... because she needs to prevent Mustafa from power so that Mahidevran will not be a threat to her.... if Mahidevran was in Hurrem's shoes, she would do bad things like Hurrem as well... think logically you pervert🙂

here is a major difference between mahideviran and Hurram parenting Mustafa always talk with hurram in very humiliating way but hurram kids always respect mahideviran.
The diffrence is hurrem sent efdun guluzar and others to kill mustafa and killing his little baby
But mahidevran never harmed any if hurrrem sons
@@marissakass3044 what a joke 🤣 Mahi herself first tried to kill Hareem's children when she was pregnant. The food was poisoned. That's why Sulaiman didn't go near Mahi all his life, because Sulaiman was also going to eat that food. Mahi himself started this war.
But at least Selim made up for it by rescuing Mahidevran from abject poverty by giving her enough money to live comfortably in her final years, bought the house she was living in and on top of that, built a türbe for his brother.
If Mustafa were Hurrem's son, then entire history would be changed.😢
Hurrem had no choice for her actions, Mahidevan made sure of it. Mustafa was blind to his evil mother, determinedly blind yet never ceased harshly judging Hurrem.
?? hurrem tried to kill him so many times, what’s he supposed to do, thank her for the poison she sent to him??? mahi’s evil is nothing compared to hurrem’s evil, the number of innocent people she killed…

MUSTAFA😮❤
This scene really portrays how Hurrem Sultana is different from Mahidevran. Mahidevran just used everyone around her to keep her position, including her own son. She wanted Prince Mustafa to become the next sultan because of her selfish motives. She is selfish and doesn't care about anyone else but herself. She wanted Hurrem Sultana to suffer because Sultan Suleiman did not show her much affection after Hurrem Sultana came to the palace. In another episode, when Mahidevran is given the role to take care of the harem, she finished the resources on buying gold plates and building private baths and balconies for herself. Ofcourse Hurrem Sultana also borrowed money but did not spend it on herself. What a vast difference!
If Mustafa was hurrem's son, the Ottoman Empire would've been something else
Sadly, Mustafa was to be killed in order for hurrem's sons to be alive because mahidevran would go to any limits to kill them and then apologize to Mustafa for killing then even if he doesn't follow the tradition, hurrem would have never killed him if mahidevran died earlier
Right after this she would go n criticise mustafa
If only the kings had one wife and kids from her the whole mess would not be there, every mother had to plot and play games to protect their kids, and at the end only one survives 😢they could hve had one wife and if no child was born considered another wife, that way they might have a heir and spare but no war
they say theres no superior enemies ship, the ship:
MY MUSTUFA, NOBODY'S LIKE HIM. And the people who give justifications on Hurrem's behalf for killing Mustufa, you guys are pathetic, no reason can ever be logical enough to explain that heinous act.
she doesnt say "Only if you were my son" she actually says I wish you were my son so we wouldnt have to face each other in this blody war. She actually wishes that he was her son, they say this is historically true, that Hurrem actually liked Mustafa very much but she couldnt support him since he is not her son.
Had mahidevran died earlier than mustafa's death, mustafa would become the Sultan
Mustafa did a mistake
He should assured hurrem that.
After sitting on throne he will not harm them.
I understand mahi and hurrem, that's why i hate suleyman sisters and the next bish after hurrem only 🤷🏻♀️

If Mahideveran was killed or something I’m sure Hurrem would have been a mother to Mustafa just like Kosem was to Osman
Andai jika Mustafa memiliki ibu yang kuat seperti hurem sultan, dan miliki istri sepintar Nurbanu sultan dan memiliki saudari perempuan seloyal mirimmah sultan maka itu akan menjadi sempurna
Mahidevran and Ibrahim were responsible for Mustafa's death .

Hurrem supporters in the comments are so funny... they even want to take Mahidevran 's son! How imaginative you are! I found one them saying "I wish Mahidevran had left Mustafa for Hurrem!!!" Looooool... Suleiman is an oppressor who wanted one of Hurrem's sons to take the throne!! If Mustafa was Hurrem's son, he would have been like the rest of her sons, you idiots!
