I love how the studio didn't want to pay them because they wanted everyone to believe it was real, except after years everyone knows it's not real, so f*cking pay them
Not paying actors that were promised a percentage for a movie that did so well is straight up criminal! Maybe they should have got rights to some marketing or figurines or something to make some loot.
@@marcodraven9778No, I was asking a question. You say it wasn’t written into the contract but the video says it was in the contract so I was asking if it was just a verbal agreement? If it’s in the contract then this is a clear breach of contract.
My rational brain wouldn't let me get swept up by the Blair Witch Project though i did appreciate it the premise and plot and it layid pavement for many movements like it and invented a whole "first person immersion" genre for movie goers. That said...that's pretty FVK'd up! Anyone who saw the movie back in the day, could see how hard the actors worked on the movie... Not to mention it was debunked pretty early in its hype that it wasn't a true story So I don't buy that lane azz excuse for not paying these peeps there due
If he told you that you were going to make that sure. lol but he didn’t tell you that and you also didn’t make him hundreds of millions lmaoooo it’s crazy your brain can hear this story and come up with this response. 😅😅

The original Blair witch Project scared the crap out of me when I first watched it, hope the actors get their money
They deserve more money
I hope they get something it would not have been a success if it was not for them
The cast of The Blair Witch Project deserve to be paid. End of story.

they even used their own names on the movie.
I hope they get paid what is due.
Remember being in Maryland when this "real" footage was "found" for the theaters. It's a shame they've had to go theough this.
I knew a guy named Theo and he spelled it Theough
And I hope they do get their money they put in the work they did all of the things yeah get your money
The studio is getting away with because the royalty wasn't in the written contract.
So it was a verbal agreement?
@@lissadawes4243 Maybe, but that's for her to prove it.

Producers treating actors as real people is like they’re method acting but on steroids
This was indeed the scariest movie of our time!!! Pay them people
How was the contract written ?
It was in the contract according to one of the actors
It’s called the blair witch project with emphasis on “PROJECT “ which means it’s not real
Didn’t they sign a contract. Did the contract stipulate the 1% royalty.
They made so much money off this movie. It would cost them relatively nothing to share some with the cast. Typical

Looks like Pam from The Office
At least Joshua is getting decent work, and Heather is successful in other things. Haven't heard much on Michael.
So can I go sue my employer for back pay. When I was first hired minimum wage was $4.25 / hour.
Today minimum wage is $20
