- We are two filmmakers studying Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University in Germany.
For our semester filmproject we have been fortunate enough to spend 14 days filming in Iceland. Our desire was to capture that stunning landscape and wildlife to take you on a journey through this magical island.

Absolutely stunning! In the end around 5:52 when the person fades you can see birds flying over the water way in the distance. You can barely notice them 1080p and you would probably miss it. 4k shows the little details and makes it seem like I'm actually there seeing it with my own eyes. I'm only using a 1440p screen.
In 14 Tagen solche Sequenzen zu drehen ist eine Leistung für sich, Chapeau!

This is so inspiring! Its on of the best landscapemovies I have ever seen in my life. It shows time and when you see it, you recognize that all the little problems in live dont really matter. We are free and this matters. I set this kind of movie as an aim for myself to achieve. I have such a hugh respect! Great work!

AMAZING! I Came from Iceland for the second time and need to say that you showed a great sensibility on this scenes. To have some birds on the frame and for these macro scenes you definitely need patience and good skills. The most part of videos now usually have drones ( are great shoots also), but sometimes i miss this this kind of angles). Congrats!!! If you want, see my amateur video also! Vielen dunken

So poetic, the first minute i was shocked, really amazing work! I think this is the best video on iceland, bacause it takes it to another level, in a poetic way is astonishing. I was really captured by the strong environment where those animals live and the story of the place, the beaty of it. I've never been in iceland, but for the first time in my life i think that this video is a neo-realistic documentary? I don't know but it felt so real, the images where so.. wow cannot explain. I really admire your work, for a second i hoped to have the same imagination as directors and put it on my city in Tuscany where i lived for over 20 years (Livorno). I understood immediately that you had a some kind of film/media background because i'm an assistant editor :). And the more incredible thing this isn't some stuff done in months, but just in 14 days?!? Really? I'm done! :O
Thanks Luigi for your kind words. We're pleased about your great feedback. However, this was a 4 month project with long preparations and planing of the trip and film. After 14 days of shooting we also had a long post production where we put together all the timelapse and came up with the final edit.
Thanks Luigi for your very kind words. Just to clarify, we spent 14 days on Iceland shooting after about two months of preparation. The postproduction took us about another month. So in the end it ended up to be months of work.
