Tip : As she mentioned it’s also better to flat iron/ style your tap ins before putting them on to prevent any more heat on your natural hair since it’s still “sandwiched in” 😆 but that also depends on the style.

When you have it parted, start with the top tape in. It will grab what it needs when you lift it up. It gets much easier the more you do it. They look great! Oh, and seal the tape with a quick hit of the straightener to ensure it holds.
Doesn’t the tape come of if heated ? I saw in a video to remove the tape give it a tap of heat and it’s removed.
I can't find anyone that REALLY talks about and demonstrates the removal process

One person said make sure get someone who knows how to get it out. Otherwise breakages. I wouldn't feel comfortable unless I had that person.
With mine…because my hair grew a lot and I washed my hair mine adhesive wasn’t as tacky when it was 4 weeks. Some slid out in their own the others my stylist removed them
Use solvent 22. No breakage

I have the same hair texture and length, and any time I straighten my own hair, it reverts very quickly. I'm working to combat this with some tips I've learned, such as, making sure my hair is completely conditioned and dry before I flat iron on 430 degree heat ( I have low porosity hair), so conditioning is everything for me and removing buildup. Either way, I'm still going to try this style today, not with this length, but with 14 inch hair. I only want fullness not extra length. I feel like the longer the hair, the more stress on the hair with tape and I'm looking to keep my strands.
I’ve been watching everybody’s videos on tape-in’s. I didn’t have thin hair until (unluckily 🙄😒) I was one of the ppl who suffered with Covid-19 related hair loss 😫😭😢. It wasn’t breakage thank GAWD but soooooo much shedded/fell out. It’s growing back but I’m NOT about to cut all this hair off! My natural hair is 22-24” long so I’m using them for thickness. I really like how they came out and considering you did them on yourself, 1st time ever doing them at all?!? Great job!
This was beautifully done. I had fusion extenstions and I loved them except for when I had to wash my hair. Shit was so hard but I would love to get them again.

Looks so nice and natural, thick classy and sleek.. Yeah I just braid in extension hair with my leave out.. No tape no glue no thread no chemicals for removals just tiny braids on the inside. I do a top not with no hair bands. Literally my hair goal🤦🏾♀️😊🤣

@@angeliamckinnie5848 I have no idea how to show you that, can you imagine doing little box braids with human braiding hair and seal it 1.5 inches down the braid. Then just brush all your hair up and you have a ponytail... I then just twist it into a top knot. Looks so real.

Ok girl so I love your tape in install by the way! I also have same texture as your natural hair! My hair curly but fine! So I came across a product call color wow dream coat! This product control frizz and protects against humidity! I live in Houston Texas and this weather will not let you be great with a silk press ! I think you should try this product see if it works! Ive worn tapes in for years. I have waist length healthy hair. I wear them until i have inches of new growth and then i used oil drenched in my hair to remove them

I'm an older woman. The tape ins are a no go for me. There is glue on the tape. That is going backwards to when we would glue our wefts in. The glue caused hair loss
All the more reason that this should be applied by a professional.
@@Yae391 all professionals aren't good hair stylists. They were tearing out our hair with weaves and burning our scalps with relaxers instead of applying the correct way. Many stylists are trash. Many are not. But putting glue on our hair is going backwards

Glue never caused hair loss in my hair but i actually went to a stylist (my sister). I was also a stylist.

@@gorgchrissy I ordered them but sent them back due to them taking 5-6 days to ship them out. Plus another 4-5 days to arrive. I am not sure if it was a back order issue but I needed them for my birthday and it didn’t arrive in time.

How do they stay in and not fall out? How do you take them out?
It’s tape on them, the adhesive allows it to stick together. + use a moisture mask, let it sit, &pull it apart.

It was a deep moisture mask that I used to help remove them.
