It sucks that the Demoman and Girlie don't get to come back. They would have been good fodder for a trio of villains. Hell, the final battle in Season 13 could have been Felix/Locus vs Wash/Carolina vs Girlie/Demoman
Who were they again, girlie and demoman? If you're refering to the two ODST soldiers from season 10, Girlie is indeed dead. She broke her back on the edge of the dock, and then drowned in the sea. Being blasted with a bruteshot and then thrown into the sea makes for a pretty bad situation, especially if you only have one arm.
IDK. Sharkface survived being hit with a Gravity hammer and being trapped in a collapsing building. Also, the Demoman has a running gag of surviving impossible situations, like the exploding oil rig or the orbital strike. Hell, there was a deleted scene in Season 10 where the Demoman survived.
