- Using your 100% cotton, you can crochet this Nubby Crochet Scrubby. The project consists of making a flat circle using only the back loops. This exposes the front loops to apply the 'nubby look' to the surface.
Each front loop has its own nubby. It densely compacts the scrubby for your dish cleaning pleasure, if there is ever such as thing.
Using your Lily Sugarn Cream or Bernat Handicrafter, be sure to only use 100% cotton in your kitchen. Cotton will hold up the activities in the kitchen and will dry way faster than acrylic or animal blend fibres.

“Going to apply your little nubbies”. LOL. 💕 it Mikey! This seems like a quick project. You could also make two of them, sew them halfway together (back to back), slip your favorite bar of soap in it & finish sewing it together. It would make a nice little exfoliate.
Oh this is fabulous! I'd run out of sponges for my dish washing, but I REALLY didn't want to go to the store because I am 66, disabled, and a little nervous about the COVID VIRUS. I've been REALLY cutting back on my trips to the shops. BUT I DO have a bit of cotton yarn and made one of these in front of the tv tonight. It was just brilliant. Thanks, Mikey! you have inspired me to create a new dish scrubbie. peaches n cream yarn, 'I' hook, for the base ...then i switched to a G hook to add red heart scrubby yarn. 2 sc in each front loop around in the spiral. wash cloth on one side and scrubber on the other. It's really cute. it wants to curl just a little but i think it will settle down when it goes thru the wash.
This looks like it would be a good technique for those floor duster slippers!

Have been searching for this exact pattern to understand. I've tried and tried to see the back loops as it was described different and confusing to me. I can't wait to do one your way. Thanks. Am making spa sets for gifts. Do you have any easy stiff baskets to make to put the things into?
