I can't fathom anymore corruption and no accountability once again. We must have justice. Dear God will it end? I called Sen. Joni Ernst office yesterday and left a message imploring her not to throw her vote for Pete Hegseth. She's a veteran and assault surviver, too. She carries alot of weight. If we all speak up or do anything we can I pray for justice and integrity and honor and the truth over just keeping their positions of power or favor. I don't agree with her policies but she's a highly respected Commander or high ranking officer.

Gerald Ford was Nixon’s VP after Nixon’s previous VP, Spiro Agnew, resigned. Ford was the House Minority Leader, so he was elected. It was the natural succession of leadership.
I was in the gallery of the House when they were debating a tax bill, and Ford was helping to whip the votes. It’s years ago, but I vividly remember him, vigorously moving up and down the aisles, speaking to his members.
Spiro Agnew was a criminal VP, and if you go back and read what he said and all the grifting he did, you find that trump has quite literally fashioned himself after Agnew. They were going to press charges against him, however, in doing so(and forcing him to resign) the Speaker of the House would advance into the VP chair, and that man was a Democrat. The GOP was against that, so instead offered Agnew no charges brought against him if he would simply step aside(he actually refused for a bit, sounding exactly like trump has in all of his court cases), which he finally did. By resigning, it allowed Nixon to appoint a new VP instead of it going to the Speaker(Dem). Nixon appointed Ford. So, it once again goes back to the GOP wanting to keep power and doing so by skirting law and order. That, then the Nixon pardon simply emboldened the GOP to become the criminal organization it is today. I'm really disgusted with the Dems because they always think that not prosecuting the wrongdoers and sweeping it under the rug is the best course of action. The GOP does what it's always done, and the Dems do what they've always done, and it's simply empowered the GOP, delivering us to a convicted criminal in chief.

I remember reading up on US presidents and vice presidents a while back. Nixon's tenure in the WH was another interesting and scandal-ridden period. He had Spiro Agnew as his first VP, but Agnew resigned; then Ford was appointed. In a few years' time there'll be a film about the Trump years. It will be a horror movie obviously (shame Wes Craven has died - he would have been the perfect director), along the lines of the Freddy Krueger franchise - although as horror movies go, Freddy Krueger has nothing on Donald Trump!
Agnew had to resign because of flagrant corruption. He had been selling favors out of his own government office. Literal bags of money moving in and out of there. Rachel Maddow did a great series of podcasts about that .

A couple of nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night (not unusual) but immediately felt a vibration go through my body. It only lasted a few seconds but it was unlike anything I felt before. Gerald Ford was Nixon’s VP after Nixon’s previous VP, Spiro Agnew, resigned. Ford was the House Minority Leader, so he was elected. It was the natural succession of leadership.
I was in the gallery of the House when they were debating a tax bill, and Ford was helping to whip the votes. It’s years ago, but I vividly remember him, vigorously moving up and down the aisles, speaking to his members.
Ford did pardon Nixon he thought it would help the country to move on. He later stated that he regretted that decision.
Spiro Agnew was a criminal VP, and if you go back and read what he said and all the grifting he did, you find that trump has quite literally fashioned himself after Agnew. They were going to press charges against him, however, in doing so(and forcing him to resign) the Speaker of the House would advance into the VP chair, and that man was a Democrat. The GOP was against that, so instead offered Agnew no charges brought against him if he would simply step aside(he actually refused for a bit, sounding exactly like trump has in all of his court cases), which he finally did. By resigning, it allowed Nixon to appoint a new VP instead of it going to the Speaker(Dem). Nixon appointed Ford. So, it once again goes back to the GOP wanting to keep power and doing so by skirting law and order. That, then the Nixon pardon simply emboldened the GOP to become the criminal organization it is today. I'm really disgusted with the Dems because they always think that not prosecuting the wrongdoers and sweeping it under the rug is the best course of action. The GOP does what it's always done, and the Dems do what they've always done, and it's simply empowered the GOP, delivering us to a convicted criminal in chief.

It's true but hasn't been enforced when it comes to Drumpf.
The Orange violated the Logan Act, the emoluments clause several times over. He got international money from the foreign leaders that paid to stay in his hotels or at the Florida property.
It is stated somewhere,that if a president doesn’t take a salary. He/she can take money from countries, but has to share it with the treasury. Rump has made millions/trillions this way. That’s a bad loophole, it seams the government is full of loopholes. Madding!
Not exactly - there's the Emoluments Clause!! A prez cannot take "gifts" of any value as long as in office - except - if the Congress approves! That means that, most presidents have NOT accepted gifts of value. - except the lawless criminal Comrade Neurosyphilis, who ignores any rules, whatsoever!! 🤬🤬 So, he has been and continues to violate the Constitution!

I remember reading up on US presidents and vice presidents a while back. Nixon's tenure in the WH was another interesting and scandal-ridden period. He had Spiro Agnew as his first VP, but Agnew resigned; then Ford was appointed. In a few years' time there'll be a film about the Trump years. It will be a horror movie obviously (shame Wes Craven has died - he would have been the perfect director), along the lines of the Freddy Krueger franchise - although as horror movies go, Freddy Krueger has nothing on Donald Trump!

A couple of nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night (not unusual) but immediately felt a vibration go through my body. It only lasted a few seconds but it was unlike anything I felt before. It felt exhilarating and I immediately asked myself “Have I shifted?” Then I fell back asleep. I can’t say I feel much different since then but it certainly was interesting!

You’re correct. Way back, he applied for a student visa, but went to work instead. So yes, he lied on his visa application. Years later he received citizenship. I would think his citizenship would be illegitimate based on a false visa application
