@CULRCODED well historically in Western countries including England that's how most villages behaved so it's only unusual in a modern sense

@CULRCODED but wasn't Bangladesh than part of India a Brtish colony so I'm surprised they didn't teach your husband English in school. I know my parents where taught English in school due to Brtish Colonial rule 1st in India than as indentured servants in the Fiji Islands

Sylhetis are different from Bengolis. Different language and culture.

@@simonkaggwanjala Sylhet is part of Bangladesh as is Dhaka etc where the Bengali language is spoken and the only difference is Sylheti is a different dialect - one of many in Bangladesh! I’m Bengali myself and can speak various including Sylheti. My parents are from different districts but we still speak Bengali. Btw it’s Bengali not ‘Bengoli…’ which is spoken in Bangladesh and parts of India (West Bengal). Again, the language is still Bengali but with different dialects . The Chittagong dialect is completely different and incomprehensible but it’s still Bengali. Bengalis in general are well known for their love of culture, language and art. Hope that makes sense as can see you are a non-Bengali person.
@@NasRin974 you are poorly informed. Sylheti is an independent language. It is not a Bengoli dialect. Sylheti is not exclusively spoken in Bangladesh. There are more native speakers in India's Assam than in Bangladesh's Sylhet. You need further education. But it seems the Bengoli hypocritical mind can not accept that there are multiple languages in Bangladesh. How ironic the Bengolis are oppressive towards other minority languages when they cried about Pakistan in 1971.
