How these guys didn't make it to the top of the heap in the 80's is beyond me. I think other bands were afraid to take them on tour because they knew they would be upstaged.
In the late 80’s I saw them open for great white and Tesla in Charlotte… All three bands killed it! I read that great whites producer saw “don’t close your eyes” from the side of the stage and approached them about making a video… that tour and the video is what helped them up. They had it all just could never break the club scene

The band wrote great songs but I know a Executive Producer who said it was the singers speech impediment that held them back, very sad. Not hacking on the guy but its really noticeable on the studio recordings. He says Thooooaaa hot!!!! don't believe me just listen to it, Paul Stanley does also, listen to some early KISS records.
One of the few vocalist that can still sing their songs. The vocal range is crazy.
