It's so crazy to look at all these shops. I feel like every shop, that people visit looks so similar. They all produce these super nice and fast cars in an evoirement... like the crapiest lifts with the most rust on them, surrounded by just so much stuff, you can barely walk around the car, however they manage to work on it?!😅 I can't get my mind to how they even get the car in and out of the workshop😂 just unreal!
Yes right? Of course there are also different shops but from what I have seen up to this point I came up with the same questions. My current impression is that this is because many shops also focus on restoration and customer cars, for which many parts cars are used and stored with keeping many parts for this purpose. Also because of the aging generation of car people in Japan. These shops exist for a long time but the people running them nearly never change. So the current shops are simply similar if not in the same state for a long time already. For them it works and maybe with a missing following generation there is no need for change. That's how I would judge it from my oberservation, also based on the age of people I met and saw at the regular tracks. Mostly old people and only few young people in between. Kind of feels like dealing with an expected end of the hobby and sport in the not too far future, maybe just little will to expand. I have another video planned on a similar topic so stay tuned :D
I think theyr not mere humans. I think theyr like demi-gods of the touge. And they simply teleport around the cars when completing work 😂 Hence why it is such high spec and high quality.
The manifold on the 2zz mrs that is for sale looks very interesting, bolts up to the 1zz downpipe but it's not like a MWR manifold. I asume they made the manifold themself, probably not something they actually sell which is a pity becouse the MWR is currently the only one for a 2zz that bolts up to the stock downpipe. Would not have expected that they used it on the stock 1zz downpipe if they went to the trouble to make the manifold, unless they also modified the flexi's to remove the restriction.
I'm pretty sure TPS sells this manifold! If I'm not mistaken they have one for the 1ZZ as well as 2ZZ. If you want one, there is a guy called "jdminformant" on Instagram. He works with Spirits to also sell this stuff to oversees 👌🏼
Actually a good question. I personally think the new turbo setup made it great for the track but the power is going to be unusable on tight roads while you lose performance to turbo lag. So I think this new setup is only beneficial for the track 😁
@@PlaneTMRS Good point. I didn’t think about the lag. It be interesting to see, it also has a sequential trans. Maybe one of these days they’ll do an update.

@@joseguerra4520 I know all that ;D It's not like the 2ZZ is the only engine in the world with problems like that. And of course I also know about HALF WAY and their K series swaps on the MR-S. The K series are amazing engines and yes, they are superior to the 1ZZ and even 2ZZ. I however dont like to judge people who did something like build a fast car and tell them they should have done it differently. My MR-S has a 1ZZ so I'm not in the position to tell anyone what engine they should use :P But we live in a free world nowadays so you are lucky and you can just use what ever engine you want in your own car, isn't that amazing? :D

I have a mwr manifold and it keept snapping flexys . So straight pipes went in place of them the cat got swapped for a single flexy problem solved.
Doesn’t PPE make one for the 2zz as well?

They engine was no problem until they touch MWR engine and part there trouble start because mwr are junk !
I’ve hear that some times now, is MWR really so inconsistent? I have no experience with them myself so I’m curious!
