+ElectricStrider1 Hey Wake up and smell the coffee. Not only did the LP5 record this first , the Monkees were using the same studio and were watching the session and really liked the tune. Also the LP5 blew away Japan in 1964...long before the Monkees went there.

And there was that little known band called Paul Revere and the Raiders that did this song.....
But the Monkees did it better live.
