Thank you so much from Spain. The monk´s words were also send through you to the future. The long list of people that benefitted from them, thanks to you is endless as you can appreciate. 10 years after you posted the video is this calm morning that I found by chance your channel! The inspiration of nature for the music is just extraordinary and most wellcome! I have heard similar explanation (but much less precise) from didgeridoo/yidaki players instructed by native australians. I did not quite understand it at tha moment, but I feel that thanks to you I understand the meaning. Suprisingly, people from very far apart who have played wind instruments have come to similar conclusions and filosophies! Lets hope that the monk´s words will keep on traveling through the years and reach more and more people... Best regards, and appreciation! Alberto

This has allowed me to take my flute playing to a new level. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us. And I love the tree line / shore line advice on playing from nature. And it really resonated with me when you said our voices are flutes and our hearts are drums, and that we send out healing to the world through our own vibrations. Pretty powerful stuff. Amazing video. Thank you!
Just recently picked up my first Native American flute, thanks so much for the advice on how to turn to Mother Nature for inspiration! Playing this instrument really feels like coming home:)
Thank you so much for making this great video! My grandfather recently gave me a six hole native american style flute, and this video taught me how to start playing it.
The word “selah” is found throughout the Psalms and comes from the Hebrew and means: ‘Rock’ or ‘Cliff’. Imagine yourself on a cliff overlooking a valley. You are supported, or lifted up, by the rock, or cliff, and you come to ‘see’. There are many moments to pause there on the cliff… and you are quiet… and come to appreciate… and to understand. The Tibetan monk you tell of, spent many moments on a mountain top and came to see. Thank You for letting me stand on your mountain top.
