What I don’t understand is why would IG allow us to have 30 hashtags if we aren’t supposed to use them all? Also, if the 3-5 hashtags recommendation came straight from the Creator account, why would it make sense to listen to any other advice? So confusing!🤔
Exactly. Some people are even advocating completely ditching hashtags, but literally all of my reach comes from using all 30 hashtags. If you're using niche-specific hashtags, your post is going to show up to people who follow those hashtags so I don't get why I should ditch them or use less.

Switch from a business to a personal account. Also try to take a break from instagram for a whole week (no posting, mo scrolling, no answering dms no liking just stay off the app don’t open it)
I'd suggest you just model success. Research who are the influencers and competitors in your niche and find out what contents are best performing on their page and model success.
I mean re-create them in your own style, if it works for them it'll probably work for you too.

I'm wondering with Flick - Will the figures for smart filters: Total Posts: 5k - 851.9k & Average Likes: 0 - 741 Change & need to be adjusted depending on how popular or overall total posts that keyword has? for example keywords such as football will be more popular than table tennis... Or is this question irrelevant? 😅
Hey Josh, the best time for me is midnight and 3am? which is clearly not practical, what would you suggest? also, after posting it is suggested you be active for an hour.
I'd suggest you use Facebook creator studio to schedule your post, that way you don't have to post at 3am when the post is scheduled for that time.

I messed up and created the hashtag before I made the account now that I am trying to make it I can’t. Does that mean I can’t create the account under that name anymore?

Sometimes it's because of your contents, so I'd suggest you research what contents that's working for influencers and competitors in your niche and re-create them in your own style or re-post it and credit them.
That way you're posting contents that's proven to go viral, so you'll be able to get results using relevant hashtags.

What's considered a big vs small account?
I have 4300 followers on my account, I use 30 hashtags all the time. I am in a completely different niche than you ( dog breeding, my challenge is that I am struggling to find new hashtags that are targetting to din new followers/customers. So how many hashtags should I be using for an account that big.
I've less than 1,000 followers on my theme page in the business/entrepreneurship niche and I've thousands of likes using all 30 hashtags.
I think what he means is test out what works for you, he has big accounts and he finds all 30 hashtags works for him, that's why he said that.
So it's all about finding what amount of hashtags works best for you and model success.

So it's no longer a problem if you use the same hashtag set regularly (...as you suggest in the testing bit?) Would we need to shuffle them at all? Or was that never even necessary?
He said test them out, if you've 3 sets of hashtags, you use each for each post and do that consistently to see what hashtags gets you the most results and use it more often.

I've been following you for a while and have been using Flick for almost a year now. One thing I still dont get is how do I know which hashtag is working for me and which one has resulted in more traffic to my page?
Look at your posts and see what posts have the most engagement and look at the hashtag insights, if the reach comes from the hashtag, that means the hashtag set works.
You want to keep using it consistently, that way you'll keep growing your followers.

Are your hashtags placed in the comments or in caption? Because sometimes when hashtags are placed in the comments they won’t show results!

This might be because you're not getting any results from using hashtags.
I'd suggest you use hashtags with 200k - 900k users if you're just starting out.
Also make sure they're relevant to your post, that way Instagram understands what your post is about and push it to more people that'll be interested in it.

Thanks for this information bro but i just wanna share that i am using a set of 15 hashtags and it gives around 500-700 likes on a particular day but if I use the same hashtags the very next day it gives only 5-10 likes. Could you please help me in this situation and i have heard and personally experienced that using same hashtags on a regular basis results in the shadowban of the account. Please help.
Yeh it's kinda spammy to the algrothrim, you want to always change up your hashtags.
If you're not always seeing results with your hashtags it might come down to the contents you're posting, so I'd suggest you start posting contents that's proven to go viral or re-creating contents that's proven to go viral in your niche.

I tried flick and tried the hashtags it provided me and my post has the worst reach than my others. Why is that?
Could be a lot of reasons, the post itself, the time of posting, the competition of those hashtags on that day. I recommend testing across 5-10 posts so you get a better idea

It's all about using 3-5 hashtags that's relevant to your post, your remaining 25 - 27 hashtags can be about your niche and account.

It seems that Instagram does not give option to post video as "post" anymore, only as reel... and hashtags on reels don't work really well. Is video as "post" finished now? Can't find that info anywhere.

Instagram wants people to use Instagram reels, that's why they're even paying people to use it lol
