Which is better option to reach yamunotri is it from haridwar or from rishikesh by taking availability of buses and time taken in to consideration

I have never become Rishikesh ... After bathing in Haridwar harkipori ghat .. Going by bus from Haridwar bus stand seems convenient in my case
