- The body of missing Mizzou student Riley Strain was pulled from the Cumberland River in West Nashville, Tennessee, early Friday morning. Retired FBI special agent Robin Dreeke said authorities will now be looking at what can be done to prevent future incidents similar to Strain's case.

In Albania we don't abandoned friends who have been drinking especially.
You never heal. I lost my son due to friends leaving him behind. It doesn’t ever go away.
So sad that Riley was visiting Nashville and did not know the area. Him being put out and alone should never happen again.
The only way to prevent this and other tragedies is by not getting so intoxicated that you are not aware of what you are doing.

It would appear that fraternity brothers are not TRUE friends. True friends would never have let this happen. Just because you join a fraternity, it does not mean that your new found friends will really be there for you. Choose friends wisely and no matter what happens, stick together.
the tragic irony here is that Riley encountered and exchanged hellos with the police officer literally a couple minutes before he went into the water :(

Surround yourself with actual friends, not fraternity brother friends.
His fraternity brothers should of looked out for him. Riley should’ve never walked alone in this city especially intoxicated. My heart & prayers go out to all those who loved him. Such a tragic loss of this handsome young man. 🙏🏻🥺
