Seeing this new interview is wild to me! I volunteered for JoyFM in Tampa at a Casting Crowns concert....20 years ago. I did a search to find out more information about the group and emailed Mark. I was amazed that I received an email in reply! His words then were that he was just a youth pastor that did this music thing too. I know where McDonough, GA is because that was the exit we'd take off of I-75 to get to my cousin's house in Conyers. I had not heard "Graceville" until this interview 20 years after I was introduced to Casting Crowns' music and members! I know people from Graceville!!! It is usually referred to as "Graceville, Florida but it's really close to Dothan, Alabama." Just like Mark said! Yes, musicians that tour the world are still just normal people too. I love that he did this interview.

I heard scars in heaven for the first time last night at amplify in Benton Arkansas. That song hit me so hard mostly because I just lost my mom in April. I cried like a baby. I'm on the praise and worship team at my local church and we rotate each Sunday with one of us singing a solo. Scores in heaven is now song I am working on learning so I can sing at church for anyone else who it may hit the same way it did me last night at amplify. I am now a casting Crowns fan and I want to say thank you to Mark Hall. Your music touched me in a big way

Mark Hall is Inspirational ive been here because of their Song, "Who am i" and it really impact anyone who is struggling what is his purpose in life, but everything are all to GOD, our purpose is to live to know that we are for God. i always sing this song and we are planning to sing this in our church. more inspirational songs! Godbless us all.
Does it make me a girl because Casting Crowns are one the of few band I purchase music from automatically when it comes out or that I’ve got every album they’ve ever released.

Add,Dys, yep I understand that. I also have both. It makes it so hard to do things .I also have health issues. CC is my go to. And right before my surgeries
I really get deep into music. I will have my 14 brain surgery the 24 of Aug. God has me and has a place for me. Try to see CC yearly when they come. Thank you for all you do. My husband just started listening to your music. Pretty cool.
