That's totally what they make me feel. It's like they were the greatest rock band of the 90s propelled to the 20s. Nirvana never made me feel these things though. I think they're better than Nirvana. They cut deep for me. They're a bit of a revelation
Lots of people would laugh at that comparison to Nirvana but I agree. So much modern indie is on another level, IMO. The only difference is a band like Nirvana happened to get big mainstream attention so they've been put on a pedestal...keeping the fallacy going that fame & popularity equals superior talent or output.
Thank you so much for your art. You are incredible and are touching people with your sensibility. I few so much things listen to this song and the album....
Captures the zeitgeist of our times more presciently than anything else I’ve heard for such a long time. Gut-wrenching and heartwarming in the same breath! Up the Porridge x
holy shit. finally. i love this song so fucking much and this recording is incredible - so textural and big, and still so gorgeously intimate. not to mention the video. holy.
COMPLETE LOVE BUT SO HARD TO ACHIEVE!!!! I DONT WANT TO GET BITTER... ETC ETC.. ONE DAY I WL SING TO THIS AT GLASTENBURY OR AT A WICKED SHOW WHERE i WILL BE OPENING UP AS WELL!!! OI!!!!
This person looks and sounds like a victim of the Woke cultural revolution and Gender Theory in particular. I want us to be kinder too, but contrary to the claim that it is the way to ensure people are treated fairly the ideology is intentionally divisive, destructive, intolerant, unforgiving and cruel, and bitterness is the intention and the seemingly inevitable effect. If you are feeling the anxiety brought on by the pursuit of "Social Justice" see my playlists for philosophical and musical help.
"I don`t want to get bitter, I want us to get better, I want us to be kinder to ourselves and to each other." - that`s lyrical magic right there.
You are so impressive I just saw you on BBC4. Good luck for the Mercury Music Prize !
Porridge Radio's music seems to capture the underlying anxiety of life in these times more than most music I've heard lately.
That's the perfect way to put their music into words. thx!
4 years later, this still bangs HARD
I wish I could bottle the last minute. Manic ASMR. You guys utilize repetition in the most compelling ways
Jfc when the repeating "I'm stuck I'm stuck I'm stuck" switches to "I'm kind I'm kind I'm kind" it wrecks me
I cannot explain to you how much this song heals me.
OMG, I love this band, long time I haven't really felt something while listening to music. :-O
I fell like a teenager again.

When you said "I don’t want to get bitter
, forget how to make you better" I really felt that. This song has been my new obsession lately.
This band makes me tingle. It’s been a long time since that last happened. They understand.
This band is brilliant. I’ll see you in Minneapolis. Godspeed.
Faith restored! I was was beginning to give up on hearing anything this good.

No, i remember those indie vibes since the 90's, listen to history ;)
For me its a mirror to the past! I love this sound since more than 2 dekades...
@@chilluminata I think he's talking about the lyrics, 'chilluminata'.
holy shit. finally. i love this song so fucking much and this recording is incredible - so textural and big, and still so gorgeously intimate. not to mention the video. holy.

The ending is a sublime, beautiful red blur....
Just had me in bits ... just like when you played it at the gig. The perfect song for the times we're in ...
Freaking david lynch moment at the end, I love it!
I loved the ending, so cool, deep, artistic
so beautiful !! getting courtney barnett vibes but way harder at the same time, amazing
solid thru and thru. best i've heard in a decade. no filler...no guar gum, no xanthan gum.
Amazing...stunning...beautiful...thank you.
Shivers down my spine
that sudden ending was everything!

This could be the soundtrack of these pandemic times.
Thank you♥♥♥
love this one
Masterpiece!
Amazing !!!! 💚
So beautiful x
Так красиво и так просто
Real love and real misunderstanding together in a room
One of the best young bands out there, sometimes reminds me a bit of the Fall or Joy Division.
MagJuergen Stefani really? it sounds nothing like either one of those bands to my ears lol
nicholas burrage I get the fall comparison
MagJuergen Stefani A general post-punk influence is imo sensible, but i can't pin point.
Amazing & underrated
this is my New Years theme
beautiful clip and powerful song
so good
I like this a lot. Kind of an updated The Cure. Vinyljunkies brought me here.
Saludos 🇧🇷 👍🏻
Love that accent
beautiful
impresionante este tema
♥️♥️♥️ this music
reminded me how strange it is to be alive
Especially in these times
This must be the sister from Portrait of a Lady on Fire!
I swear she longs for beautiful women with a soul... Some one who knows my struggle
Loving it! :)
Reminds me of the Cranberries on a spiritual level
Adoro viagem de guitarras muito bom🎸🤙
Fabulous
damn, makes me think of Low. the slow buildup into eventual chaos!!
COMPLETE LOVE BUT SO HARD TO ACHIEVE!!!! I DONT WANT TO GET BITTER... ETC ETC.. ONE DAY I WL SING TO THIS AT GLASTENBURY OR AT A WICKED SHOW WHERE i WILL BE OPENING UP AS WELL!!! OI!!!!
Radio Mingau é muito bom mano
EARGASAM.
My favourite beach. Went as a kid in the 70s, now it is all over the tv
Where is it?
@@leandrodell2954 Botany Bay. Thanet. Kent
Would it be so wrong to consider this bassline a thing of total beauty ?
Wow.
Wow
Fucking love this band. They encapsulate everything I feel right now. How you're so unknown I'll never know. Fuck wet leg!! Porridge radio for life
Long is my favorite
The irony of saying 'fuck wet leg' in the comment section of a song with these lyrics..
I'm stuck I'm stuck I'm stuck I'm stuck I'm stuck I'm stuck
Wow - really like what I'm hearing with these videos - any stateside tours planned? Baltimore/DC area?
Go for the challenge...destroy the cardhouse
OMG. Come to Sao Paulo/Brazil NOW!
né???
where was recorded this clip? i mean how is called exactly this place?
They're from Brighton, So I'd imagine it's the white cliffs somewhere close to Eastbourne.
The end of this video reminds me of Rabbits having SEX.But I've had a few beers .
something about your voice reminds me of Nico
I love this but listen to it long enough it sounds like your saying condom condom condom ahahah much love thoooo
Infantilizmas
Pseudo angst ridden pap.
