Beautiful restoration to original spec. I've owned my series 1,1968 1750 since 2017 (green with tan leather -flying buttress ska hide seats). Finally over the pandemic started the Alfaholics upgrades I've alway wanted to do. Suspension, wheels, gearbox, and engine rebuild. The toughest part was deciding to debumper. This specific year has those beautiful curved indicators built onto the front bumper. I suppose I could always put them back on..ah such a difficult decision lol. The early 1750's are the best. Congrats!

Congratulations on an extremely well made video and a great story. Brings back wonderful memories driving the Alfa Spider Veloce 2.0... the sound of the engine, the feel of the wooden steering wheel, the long throw 5 speed gear shift...

Wee Liam - great to see your fantastic short featuring your Alfa - brings back memories of the trip up to the Cameron Highlands last year before I moved to London. Top Gear quality!

These Malaysian great driving roads still exist thanks to the rubber and palm oil estates left from the British days and we're blessed to be able to do a short run over the weekend. Towards the end of the film, the 1900 Victoria railway steel Bridge is the one of the living remains that has seen through 12 years of the Malayan Emergency 1948 which started less than 50km away.

Nice car and good story. I was interested to see your video because I have just bought a 2000 GTV, 1974 car, that was originally sold to City Motors malaysia in Dec 1973. It then went to Singapore probably 1991. Was imported to UK Oct 1999, and then sold to Ireland 2011. I bought it back into UK this year still with original chassis and engine no.
