The work always continues. I really like all the new monkey poles. Koi pond area is looking great as usual. A few of my trees came out early as well. It makes me nervous for the rest but very excited for all the baby foliage. Thanks for sharing Jason!
This was a cracker mate. I love the combination of footage plus commentary/explanation of how things are doing. I'm going to have to do my own casualties of winter in an upcoming video I think.
You should also do the tour of your garden that you gave me with commentary about the trees as you go. You have so much material you would have to split it into 3 parts. 😆😆😆
Thanks Alex. I had to go out and finally straighten them up yesterday afternoon and put up that longer bench. Glad it’s done but I don’t know it’s cleared any space…
Lovely to see your trees Jason. That deep red tree. I have one that looks like that, I didn’t know what it was called, when My leaves come out if I do a short vid could you tell me if it’s the same please my friend. It’s probably not the same but it looks the same on the vid. Thanks loads 👍👍👍👍👍
Nothing. They should be able to cope with anything the UK weather can throw at them. I appreciate that some people worry about and want to protect prized trees but no need to baby them - they are hardier than some give them credit. 👍
Gosh, another beautiful video, and I feel like a child grinning to see your fish. One question, why was one of your trees at the bottom of the pond for a week?? I assume you didn't know it was there?
We had strong winds which blew the azalea off the table. It took me a week to realise it was missing and realise where it must be, and I had to fish it out of the pond. It didn’t seem any worse for tre experience. 😳
This video is titled "April jobs" but the whole video is just pointing out what trees you have. Your trees are nice, but there's no instruction or information in the video 🤷♂️
I like the tea garden. Planning to do one myself.
Thank you John 🙏

Glad you like them!
I absolutely love your collection and presentation. Thanks for the tour. Now I’ve developed a bad case of bench envy. Thanks, keep growing
Ha ha 😊
Your garden is so beautiful and peaceful. I love looking at your bonsai while hearing the water in the little koi pond ... sooooo relaxing !
Thank you so much 😊

Nice collection and beautiful garden.
Thanks a lot

We all loose some now and then it's part of the hobby thanks Jason keep up the good work mate
All about keeping it real and showing you lose some as well as you win some. 👍
The new benches and monkey poles look great mate. You've got a lovely garden there

Bonsai become a lifestyle indeed. Not easy and really requires a lot of patience and energy. Great job mate, continue sharing.
I will do 👍
Looks amazing. Spring seems some two or three weeks before me.
We did have a frost this morning but its now bright and sunny.
@@TheBonsaiGarden frost every night here. Bright and sunny every day. Not so different.
I love design of the new bench, especially the bamboo background with black trim. I hope you don't mind me stealing your idea...
Go for it.
They are look great on your benches jason. Mine are absolutely a messright now :(
Oh dear Xav. Do you need Number 1 son to do some more carpentry for you?
@@TheBonsaiGarden I am waiting for him to put some wall brackets up for new outdoor shelving :)
Lovely to see your trees Jason.

The red trees are Japanese maples.
@@TheBonsaiGarden 🤣I know that. Was hoping you may know the specific tree. Doesn’t matter Jason 👍👍
There are hundreds of cultivars - unless it is a common one it could be a guess at best. I will do my best 👍
@@TheBonsaiGarden cheers Jason 👍👍
nice
Thanks 🙏
👍👌👌
Thank you Bruce
What do you do to protect your Acers from late frosts?
Nothing. They should be able to cope with anything the UK weather can throw at them. I appreciate that some people worry about and want to protect prized trees but no need to baby them - they are hardier than some give them credit. 👍
