32:50 - as weird could it seems, I would have played tolarian academy before mox pearl. The reason is that the white moxen alone could put you on Initiative, and one of the best ways to deal with that deck is to counter their white mana, since they play very few. That is also the reason why your opponent thought on your mox, I believe. With any other mox I would have play as you.
You mentioned along the lines of not liking Bazaar decks for doing an explosive and then losing but have you gotten a chance to try out CounterVein at all? It allows you to have the same explosive starts and can also grind super hard with the Squee effects and Bazaar
I’d love to see you pilot an oath deck, it feels the same as tinker, it’s mono blue at its core. With a combo or 4. Few extra spicy counters like swans song. Put a fatty in play. And when they are a creature deck… -1 piece. You lose all the cheap creatures in your deck though :(
49:19: I would suggest to side out Mystical Tutor against the reb.deck that also wastelands you. You want your top of the deck to provide lands so much that you don't like to put a spell on it that could be easily blasted.
Round one I think then not strip play is honestly the best possible if bazaar player has no FOV, their only real love topdeck is likely bazaar so they have to hope that either you name bazaar and strip is still live to defend against a saga game plan, or if you name strip he still has the live outs of drawing once upon a times/bazaars to get the hand moving
i only know vintage from your content. and the majority of my legacy knowledge is from your content and a bit from others. i've only played about 20 matches of legacy in my life, but i think legacy is so wonderful.
54:28 super interesting spot....you correctly surmise that they're representing a counter by not playing Lavinia, though if they truly had nothing they would have no reason not to try the bluff the counter...it's possible you were supposed to wait, but doesn't Lavinia counter force of will anyway next turn? I think you just had to shove and hope they were bluffing
You won round 2, game 2, after forcing your way into being the monarch to deny them cards with Hullbreacher. Would it not have been more simple to just cast the twister and shotgun their board for 7, turning your army into an 8/8 and leaving them with just the jailer and a noble? If you whiff on the 7 cards (which you nearly did, since it was 6 misses and time vault lol) your opponent still has like 10 power in play. Anyway, it might just be a gamble against hitting your list's fail rate vs. taking a safer board line, but it felt risky to me
He also runs Squee, right? And some of these decks run Bloodghast or Master of Being-A-Blue-Squee (whatever that card is) if you don't know his particular list
Don't deploy crypt immediately, g1. You're playing against an aggressive deck and having to open yourself up to getting bolted by your crypt isn't good for the matchup
Love an esper deck with a single white pip and no Tundra across the 75
I was looking when he said “Esper”
You're not supposed to cast sphinx. If you're paying 8 for it either way things have gone wrong.
Or you drew Academy and 4 pieces of artifact fast mana. In which case things have gone very, very right.
MTGGoldfish deck naming undefeated

It's amazing that War of the Spark is four years old now. Time keeps moving forward.
Me at a Vintage tournament, having absorbed Bosh's top tips: I play Pithing Needle.
Opponent: Resolves.
Me: I name Floosws Strwd.
Opponent: Judge!
@47:00 the oft forgotten manifold key second ability strikes again! Granted jet for grasp has him basically dead and killing Lurrus' just feels good.
vintage- my favorite singleton format
Play the good cards
15:00 "guys i promise i just tutored for a land"
“I’m keeping it for science. That’s what magic players say when they’re keeping a bad hand.”
Brian you didn’t have to say the quiet part out loud 😂
"This is cyberbullying" really made me laugh
Noxious Removal really put in work.
Format staple

second game of round 3 was insane
That M3G1 was... certainly one of the Magic games of all time lol

more cracked vintage magic: the gathering. tasty.
do you prefer vintage or legacy, bosh?
I’m not Bosh, but I like legacy more as I feel vintage has way too many auto-includes, what about you?
I like them both but Legacy is way better
Vintage is like taking the Ferrari out for a drive occasionally. Fun but gets old fast

at 1:00:00 you had find lotus hardcast sphinx of the steel wind. is it good? dunno. but its cool
Awesome!!! @1:06 why not spin the top?

Leyline doesn't do very much against Montolio's deck. It only stops Vengevine.
That’s not nothing. Just trying to do anything to slow him down.

Love the vintage ❤❤❤
Vintage ❤❤❤
26:20 I'm not very familiar with vintage. Is this amount of creatures on the board normal?
Is there a world where there's a Vintage list using Crucible of Worlds to simply lock opponents out of the game with Wasteland and Strip Mine?
Check out my Fastbond combo lands video from a couple months ago.

Why do Vintage players love playing 1-ofs so much, even on cards that arent restricted and probably should be more than a one-of?
Hello!
