I was doing poorly in my Electronics 1 class because I just could not grasp the concepts my professor lectured. Too much time was spent looking at an overhead picture (Mind you sitting even a few rows back you cannot see much clearly), so taking notes seemed impossible, for example, at times what I thought was Vgs was actually something totally different. If I pass this class a large part will be solely based upon your videos. (Sad to say I saw them last minute and wish I found you sooner!). Hats off to you sir! Amazing explanation, you go at the perfect pace, and explain in detail what is going on. For this, I thank you quite sincerely!
I finished your OpAmp tutorials a couple of weeks ago. Now, I find myself in the need of a better understanding of MOSFET transistors and here I am again in your channel, great tutorials sir. From Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, México.
Do notice that in second 2:19 and following, it is emphasized that there is a "galvanic disconnection" between the gate and the channel. That prevents gate currents regardless of Vgg (with the proviso of respecting the ratings of the device).

Also, according to the reclassification of labels for people according to age, to supersede the old one coined in 1875 (when medicine, food, and life expectancy were much lower), a person between 18 and 65 years is to be labelled from now on "a young person", a person from 66 to 80 is now a "Middle aged person", and from 81 to 99, a old person. 100 or more is a long lived person. So, keep working on it, and enjoy your youth.

I have one question regarding the MOSFET after watching this tutorial. It's not clear to me what the fundamental difference between a JFET and MOSFET in terms of operation. It's seems like they are quite the same.
I have never found this conductance coefficient (Kn) in all the datasheets of the mosfets that I have downloaded ... is there a trick to extract it of the data sheet?
Can someone help me out here? I am looking at datasheet after datasheet and I just cannot find a Kp or similar characteristic listed anywhere. My googling has only added to my confusion.

Just reverse the directions of currents and the polarity of the 0.7 V equivalent source representing the base-emitter PN junction.
... and reverse also, of course, the polarity of the bias power source Vcc.
