I love that you went for an asymmetrical look on the shelves above your couch! I know you usually make them mirror each other, but changing them to not be exactly matching looks so much better. ❤️

Crystal that picture looks so beautiful above your fireplace… don’t hide it. It gives a fresh new look to your mantle. Maybe put the older piece behind it if your determined for a layered look?

For your mantel, I suggest not covering the beautiful painting! Maybe add some sage greenery (eucalyptus?) instead of the bright green to tie into the painting.

Charlie definitely fits in with the RUclips world. I love his poses. So photogenic ❤. Everything turned out beautiful as usual. Throws, let's talk about this. I love the way your throws drape on your sofa/chair. Now when I try that, i feel it looks sloppy. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Yours always turn out picture perfect. Thank you for sharing this video.
I also struggle with throws. I usually try to grab by one corner and drape it over. Not sure if that helps, or not.
Why did you cover the art on your mantle?
Hi Crystal .. I love everything except one thing .. you are hiding that beautiful landscape print .. I don’t think that other piece layered on it really goes .. maybe it can be repurposed in another room. I like your other changes . Hope to see that print in your spring home tour . ❤️
Looking so good Crystal but I have mixed feelings about the layered look on the fireplace. I love doing that too but I feel like the print should stand on it’s own and not be hidden. It gets lost. I don’t mean to be critical at all. Love your channel!

Love everything; how about instead of the white candles in fireplace you use the sage green color candle you love and it will bring out more of the colors in the picture

I got home at 11:15Pm EST, my grandson who is a senior and he pitches for his high school team. Grandma has to attend he was amazing so as soon as I got home I got on RUclips to see you had a video out👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻so excited. Beautiful as always! I liked the addition of the orbs to the bowl. You are right, no one (other than your 100,000 + subscribers!) will notice the broken glass bowl!!😊 I raised 3 boys, and I think half of our decor was glued!

Crystal, it’s funny how you placed things (i.e.: the flowers on the coffee table and the candle on the end table) and I thought, “that looks good but it’s not quite right”. I just love watching Charlie in your videos. He is so cute. I think you did a great job with the room, except one suggestion. I think you should remove the picture in front of your painting. The painting is beautiful needs to be the focus. That white picture blocks it too much. But other than that, I really like the way the room turned out.

I love the minimalist look. I don’t like a lot of clutter because I hate dusting so the less items sitting out the better. Is your fireplace a wood burning or gas fireplace? I like the pictures you put over your mental. Sage was never a green that I gravitated to but I have to say I am liking it more. I am the same as I don’t use my battery operated candles in the warmer months. The cost of batteries are so expensive if you have many. When are you putting your house up for sale? How is it coming on the building of your new house?

I have to start off by saying that Charlie is as cute as a button that little face looking at you do all the works around then he wants to just get into it all just love his coloring beautiful Charlie. I was watching you do your mantle someday you should have your hubby make you a wooden mantle cover and it’s kind of fun we had a friend make it for us and it just slides in and a beautiful wood and then if I want to take it off I just take it out and have a regular white mantle lol and not in any critical saying, but I love the picture alone on the mantle! Lol while I was watching you Charlie went and he snatched your chain link he does things that his toy ha ha haHe’s definitely too cute. Your love of sage has inspired me. I have been looking for a picture for my kitchen with some red in it. Red and black had been the main colors but I've had no luck. I'm thinking of changing it to sage since I can find more things I like in that color.

How old was Charlie when you got him? He is so adorable and looks so soft! We got our puppy when she was already 6 months old. I wish I could have had her as a puppy.
